I think you've got the natural ability to sing. That being said, you're going about singing all wrong. That's only going to mess up your throat. I sang like that for about two years and it messed my shit up. Just experiment with different styles. Also, try not to sing through your nose. I know its hard, but once you stop, there's no more whine in it. Even though Shadows does it, no one else can sound like him when singing nasally.

Here's some advice for ya man- On the choruses where you decend on the notes(ex. Can't you help me cause i'm starting to burn, when you decend on "burn"), Make that more clear, instead on kinda dragging it. To do what you did takes BALLS and one helleva voice to properly do it, and in your case I think you'd be better off going from note to note clearly. A7x is some hard shit to sing, so i'll give ya some props for trying man.

Haters gonna hate. A7x is fecking hard to cover and you did a good job. What you could try though, is turn the backing track up a bit, because it's hard to make vocals sound good without any instrumental backing it up. If you do that though, make sure that you turn the vocals from the backing track off :P
