The Incline Plane is a wonderful training tool helping to build ones golf stoke. Thanks to Martin for sharing and likewise to Chuck and Ben for sharing with Martin.
Your path dictates the side spin on the ball. If you put the ball back in your stance, at that point in the swing you should be coming more from the inside, chances are your going to hit a draw, not the other way.
@Klistern2 I'm sorry but you're taking for granted that the club face will be closed to path which shouldn't necessary be the case. Anyway the ball will be starting to the right, with or without sidespin
Last time I checked a fade starts left of target and moves back to the intended line of flight. Open face can leave you with either a push or push draw. what in the world is he talking about? Move the ball back in your stance and the handle forward, you are getting a push, best case scenario which is different from a fade. Most better players would hit a draw from the same open clubface with the ball back in his stance.
@mark92618 Totally wrong....you can have a pull fade, a straight fade or a push or block fade. An open face can never, never ( did I mention never!) produce a DRAW. An open swing path will produce a pull shot, if your club face is open you will produce a pull fade, if it is close , a pull draw and if it is straight.....well I think you can answer this one.Good luck!
@z7fan It is anything but wrong. I can hit a push draw with an open clubface. Part of the problem is how you are classifying shots. We now have video that can illustrate this so you can see it for yourself. Where would you like me to send it?
@mark92618 For a pushdraw the clubface has to be close in relation of the swing path not the intended swing path. Which means that if you aim at a target and you come from inside and finish outside the INTENDED swingpath with a close club face you will necessarely have a push draw. The club face might look open if you look from the INTENDED swing path but it is close in the actual swingpath. There is only 9 possible traject. and an open clubface always produce a fade. Check cam angle.
@z7fan Yes-I agree....but the clubface can be open to the original ball target line....just closed to swingpath. Whether a clubface is open or closed is always stated in relation to the original ball target line
@z7fan An open club face CAN hit a draw....club face mainly dictates the ball starting dircection. If the swing path is very in to out you can still hit a draw with an open face. In fact most pros hit draws with a slightly open face. You don't understand the new ball flight laws properly.
@cockywatchman1976 You are really funny! The NEW BALL FLIGHT LAWS! I didn't know that laws of physic had changed over the years . I thought I was clear. Go check Mike Hebron 9 trajectory in golf. You might learn a few things. BTW Mike has been ranked among top 50 golf teacher in America for a few years now and I had the privilege to attend one seminar with the CPGA in 95. Golfers are strange. They rather beleive their perception instead of facts.
@z7fan Next you'll be telling me God swings the club.I didn't say Physics had changed-what has changed is scientific analysis techniques and technology. We now know that the old ball flight laws were a little wrong. It's fact that an open club face means the ball starts right-you can still hit a draw (with an in to out swing path).Clubface dictates the startinhg direction 80-85% depending on club..spin is due to differential of club path and face angle. Im a golfer-science not perception
The first reference about moving the hands to square is something any TGM instructor would cringe at.The hands are just clamps that hold on to the club and alow for a hinging motion, creating the flying wedge ,they do not manipulate the club head to square. You use,for example as a hitter would use a throw out actionof the right shoulder /arm and weight shift that brings the handle ahead of the club head with a bent right wrist and a flat left wrist. This happens naturaly from proper set up.WOW
@TheBigezee77 How are earth can you say this about the guy? I have watched all of his videos and he has never came across that way. Seem like you have the attitude
@SpenceMo09 club face angle at impact determines starting direction. Side spin-- if any-- is created by the differential between the club face and club path at impact.
if you can visualize the plane as a ring that passes through a hole in the sweet spot of your club at address then you will be locked into the proper swing.Your body will have to make the proper movements.
knows a little of what he's talking about, but still missing some key components. just you wait until some Campbell University Professionals graduate the next couple years. you'll want to pay us double compared to this guy

wow this guy talks bullshit how can he think people don't already realise this and by teaching that load it store it and dump it shit he is teaching hitting it late meaning a massice block lolz might work 1 round a year
callaway x force swing trainer. exact same action, just longer. tried it last week. that ben doyle part is great.
the chuck evans thing is imo off, he ignores the pivot. his hips are square at impact. plus he's addressing the face square when infront or behind the ball, of course it won't be square when you reach the ball.
moving ball position to fix your ball flight. not fixing the cause, just a compensation for an error. 2 wrongs = right?
