When Hendo's caught in a flurry that dude scrambles out of there! Hendo doesn't ride it out, he's getting the hell out of there, and that's what he did prior to knocking Fedor out.

Because there is so much doubt of what happened, that in its self says it was an early stoppage, if it was 100% clean cut OK, people wouldn't be complaining, end of story...
If the fight was given even a second or 2 more it would have played out & we would know for sure, Fedor was turning over & was on his back when herb stepped in.

Hendo has one of the hardest punch in MMA !!! If not the hardest! in terms of ranking of hardest punchers i would have 1) Hendo 2) Rampage 3) Vitor Belfort 4) JDS 5) Fedor! But that was clearly a premature stoppage! Not only was that stop premature,hendo landed 2 punches toward the back of the head, which is clearly illegal in MMA! So 2 illegal punches, Fedor turning arounds, and the fact that Herb dean only gave Fedor 1.5 secs, and decides to stop it! I dont' buy it! Early stoppage!

And if u truly were a Fedor fan, you would address the punches toward the back of the head,, and you would acknowledge the fact that Fedor turn around after the 3 punches.. Herb dean had about 1.5 seconds to stop the fight or let it continue but he chose to stop the fight.. it was a bad call, and he ruined a great fight by stopping it... i've seen much worse damage where fighters were allowed to continue. This was bullshit!

He looked screwed when Brett was pummelling Fedor's face when he was on top, but the Ref waited, and Fedor managed to survive. The fight was stopped a little early, but the Ref was just doing his job. Fedor didn't even look fazed after the fight.

And you don't seem to realize fighters go through much more damages before a ref stops a fight.. And considering this was a main event, this should have gone further.Also Herb dean screwed up twice this fight.. Another fight was with Bobby Green and JZ Cavalcante in the preliminary! Great win for Hendo, but I've got to say, it maybe was stopped a tad early, Fedor can take a shit load and recover very quickly, look at the Kevin Randleman slam or the Kazuyuki Fujita punch, he recovered and won both of them fights. Congrats to Hendo, but I hope to see Fedor get back to winning again.

I can't see how anyone's disputing Herb Dean's decision. Fedor literally face planted while being completely unconscious. It was the right call.... And believe me, if that fight could've continued I would've been stoked.
Props to Hendo though. That's a huge feather in his cap when a 265lbs + fighter in Big Foot Silva couldn't even put Fedor to sleep.

Initially i thought the fight was stopped too early but after seeing the replay, Fedor got knocked out from the reach around punch. Herb Dean is a great ref, imo the best ref in the sport. He made the correct call. props to Herb Dean.
