I have always loved this carol, sang it at school - much prefer this tune which is the one I learned at school. Nowadays mostly the alternative tune is used which I think is not nearly as beautiful. Love Annie's voice too!

I've always loved this carol. we sang it at church and school, so the memories of it are deep rooted. Last Chrismas was one of the saddest I've known, but my husband, knowing I love Annie Lennox downloaded the album and played In the Bleak Mid Winter when we finally sat down to our meal and it was just perfect. Thank you Annie, Annie(another Annie)
