It is not illegal, Athene actually asked a FM be4 he started lvling if the way they were going to lvl was legal, the GM said it was ok but in the end i think that blizz thought it wudnt be fun for others if some1 got lvl 80 in like 5 hours while the rest does 3 days to get that high.... So i think they shud kill the GM who said it was ok or they shud send a bomb to blizz campus in the U.S. :)

@tjena4 You know what's so wrong is that Nyhm cheated (and outright admitted he got someone who wasn't in his party to heal him and he ganked mobs) the same way Athene did except on a far slower rate. What's also so wrong is that this wasn't considered cheating and was verified by a Game Master as clever use of game mechanics, I'd know I've powerleveled several characters this way without ever getting so much as a warning back when I played this.

@MyrtaBeatz he did the world 1st 85 as a project, it was for a paper he wanted to publish, so he would have ofc done the maths, here from what i heard he gave it a go a ptr found out it was very fast and just went for it. it would have taken we will say 10 hours of preperation(give or take) and then what ever lenght it took him to do this times, we will say 4(say he tried it 3 times on ptr) that would still be a lot less time to get from 70-80 then it took most people
