In PS2 Version (same as mine) the Red9 Exclusive Firepower is 6.5 and Blacktail Exclusive one is 4.0 soo good :)

The Red 9's sound alone bought me haha, just an awesome gun overall if you know what you are doing. Blacktail is fantastic but it's easy to waste ammo on it.

on USA game cube version the red9 goes to 5.0 firepower and the blacktail goes to 3.4, on ps2,pc and wii version the red9 goes to 6.5 and the blacktail goes to 4.5, also the bolt action rifle goes to 30.0 while in gamecube it goes to only 18.0 making the semi-automatic rifle better in gamecube, but the bolt action is stronger than magum in ps2 and pc version

Punisher is unique handgun u know, you can shoot through 5 ppl when fully upgraded.

i have completey upgraded the blacktail and the red9, and to tell tell u guys the trueth, i prefer the red9. when u buy the red9 "exclusive" it upgrades the firepower to 6.5(on the ps2 version) and the the blacktail is about 4.5? im too lazy to check lol. even though the blacktail has quicker aim, and steadier aim, i enjoy the firepower more than the accuracy. so if anyone is stuck on what gun to buy, i would tell u to get the red9. have fun

striker is better in gc version it has 200 ammutation and in the wii version it has 100 and the firepower can go to 13 so striker i most prefer

i love the red-9 cause i tend to use a pistol as a main weapon so i prefer the higher firepower and accuracy with the stock

im totally blacktail, although the red9 is awsome the blacktail is faster and holds the most ammo among handguns (second to the matilda) it also has a very decent stopping power

i prefer the blacktail, its smooth, sexy, useful for when u have shit loads of amm, just blasting away at there chests, and u dont need a stock/

It's a matter of preferance. The Blacktail has more capacity and shoots and reloads faster. The Red9 does more damage and makes the most of each bullet. DO NOT use a handgun to shoot enemies in the knees and face for combos. A single TMP bullet is way more expendable.

in my opinion the red9 is better cuz its stronger and the blacktail just has more bullets and faster reload. its easier to use cuz u have more bullets and u reload fast. the red9 nedds a little bit more time to reload. but its worth the time cuz two shots and bam ganados are done.

if you have a good aim and smart about using and picking up items, get red9 (with stock). if you have kind of sloppy aim and don't care about using ammo, get blacktail. blacktail is more of a beginner gun, red9 is for people who know what they're doing (like more experienced shooter). but for me i'd say red9 because if you have extra, you can sell some of the ammo

You got it totally backwards.... the Red 9 is a gun for the new players who can't take out each enemy with 1 or 2 bullets.... but have to fire at there chest to get kills.... the black tail is for people who shoot them in the knees and suplex zealots and soldiers..... or kick then and kinfe em when there down.

I use the Blacktail and consider myself an experienced shooter because I don't miss even though it shakes. The only way you can claim to have a better aim with the Red Nine is if you use it without the stock. It takes up less iventory and you can reload faster. Firepower on PS2 and HD versions...

Rednine: 6.5

Blacktail: 4.5

Red9 definitely is what most of people bargain for: it's cheaper and it can make every worthy shot; but in a long run, IF you wanna stick with 9mm gun and don't want TMP then Blacktail is better deal. But that would make you cheat for ammo, 'cause 9mm ammo will be dry at some part in game(i hate when game doesn't let you to buy ammo). I use Red9 and TMP(especially TMP at Mine cart ride), so likely i must have TMP to support. Shotgun and Magnum for big guys.
