I needed an ultrasound of a kidney cost was 380.00 w/o insurance 171.00 with insurance, I offered to pay 200.00 but they said nope 10% discount was the best they could offer. This system is effed up. I hope this reform thing works.
Let me tell you...all the hospital cares about is how are you going to pay? and how fast can you get out of the hospital so somebody else can come in and pay!

Ive just started to intern at a hospital.
Let me tell you...all the hospital cares about is how are you going to pay? and how fast can you get out of the hospital so somebody else can come in and pay!
