It's pure cheap pop! A real countertenor is supposed to share his soul and render the true meaning of this Via Crucis and not just entertain people with his sugary sounds without any attachment to any image. A true singer should express everything with his VOICE, and not just supercially play on his vocal cords without any depth but with a microphone and sound technicians just create an ILLUSION that PJ has somewhat voice and technique! He only sings with his manicured female fingers! LOL

But it's absolutely obvious here that withouth MIKE he couldn't be HEARD at all as he hardly opens his mouth and isn't using his CHEST just making superficial trills, and sound techs emphasize his solf fingers to shift viewers attention from his SMALL voice. @serenaluce Are you a voice expert, vocal coach or trained singer? The reason I ask is that a trained singer does not sing with the CHEST but with the diaphram. The abdominal muscles act like a bellows to force the air through the vocal cords. As for it being 'pure POP' that's your opinion. I doubt that Christina Pluhar (with her ensemble) would be aligning herself with someone like PJ if he were of that low caliber. And that't my opinion. . .
