I guess that could be pretty fun... If the tires are trashed anyway. I like passing stuff, it used to be the car didn't matter much but now in intermediate the drivers are all half way decent so the passing of faster cars like Vettes, Vipers and Cayman S cars is getting more rare. The Y2KR calipers and ducts really helped in the brake department.though.

I couldn't believe they made it through that session.  After all that there was still probably 50% tread left..and they weren't brand new when I started. Hallett is actually an awesome track for tire life...at least for motorcycles.

Did you ever do a complete lap to see what that car would turn?

Yea...we did quite a few till we went metal to metal on the front pads. I think we were in the low 30's, maybe a 29 if we got lucky, but I doubt it. The brakes were definitely the limiting factor, I had a gut feeling we were going to fry them.

I bet it was a blast, was it trying to spin everywhere or just the slow stuff? What did you mean that I "know that corner well". I've only crashed in "the stop sign" once..... OK twice but the first time didn't count and the second was because of water on the track.

hmm.. I did a similar burnout, trying to warm up the tires on the first lap HST. Video did get a little old though. You can only make burnouts cool for so long. Nice car.
