  • The problem is not Islam or Judaism, Muslims or Jews - it is Zionism - the idea that only the chosen ones can return to their said home of their ancestors 1700 years ago. What if we all did that?

  • Warmonger. Iran has not attacked a single country in more than 300 years. Can other nations say the same? People highlighting barbaric and perverse practices in Islamic countries are not looking at their own culture properly at all OR THE WARS THEY JUSTIFY WHERE MILLIONS!!!! ARE DYING NEEDLESSLY. It is ethically and morally irresponsible to demonise an entire nation of people. It is every individuals responsibility to recognise this and think for themselves. Hitchens will be sorry for his lies.

  • @mikecity82 You could say the same about north korea before the second world war.

  • @mikecity82

Iran has "attacked" its OWN people, for example by shooting at protesters. Just FYI.

  • @twooffour You are here to start riots. You want a bloody war don't you Zionist? FYI your idea of a nation attacking 'its own people' is so loose that it applies to every country. How far back would count? What would constitute an attack like this? Has no one died during any protest due to the force wielded in this land? How and why would you know about it let alone the validity of your facts? Where is this imaginary line that you have drawn or should i say allowed someone else to draw for you?

  • @mikecity82

Hey, hey, woah, quit with the projecting and the strawmanning.

I have no idea what the fuck you're trying to say, or justify. Shooting at demonstrants (let alone if what they demonstrate against is government / elections) is tyranny - FULL STOP.

Violent protesters being accidentally killed in the chaos, for instance =/= snipers shooting in the crowd at random.

  • @twooffour Liar, i haven't justified ANY MURDER unlike you. You want a war in Iran even though you have not felt the suffering of the current occupations. Why would you say ' Iran has attacked its own people' as if they are solely culpable? It HAPPENS EVERYWHERE which nation has no blood on its hands of its own people? UK and USA are killing their own children overseas right now for private defence contractors and our billionaire owners. Good people speaking the truth end up dead - fact.

  • @mikecity82

See what I was talking about when telling you to quit strawmanning and projecting?

    I didn't MENTION anything about a war in Iran. You're a looney.

  • @twooffour You felt the need to reply to my comment that IRAN HAS NOT ATTACKED A SINGLE COUNTRY IN MORE THAN 300 YEARS with 'Iran attacks its own people' as if they are alone in such murderous action.

  • @twooffour Rather be a 'looney' than a fraud that loves war.

  • If Hitchens was confused by your policy it probably wasn't good.

  • @kennedyt

Hitchens was the most vulgar political propagandist of our time

  • @SwiftyMcVeigh100 I disagree-- that distinction is still held by Noam Chomsky, a linguist who has no business broadcasting his foreign policy opinions to such a large audience of sycophants

  • Hitchens should have called certain offices of the State or Treasury and I guarantee he would have received a very comprehensive, even understandable, response. At least with respect to the dual track policy they are, and were already in September 2010 and undoubtedly long before that, laboriously implementing.

  • hey, its general hammond's stunt double from startgate sg1! ;)

  • Prior to this video, I've just witnessed a Scientology advertisement - I don't think the great man, Hitch, would have approved!!!

  • @Tj930

Install add-block plus (free for firefox and google chrome) to never be annoyed again.

  • @RogierV2 Cheers. I might well do that; I was just amused by the irony

  • @arfalarf kay. captain obvious. anything we havent heard?

  • The Obama administration's strategy for dealing with the Iranian nuclear weapons program is Stuxnet and the assasination of Iranian nuclear scientists.

  • Mr. Hitchens is guilty of cherry-picking facts to suit his opinion. He has totally that America has her finger an every country's pie.

  • HAHA good riddance you fat zionist faggot!

  • @aztecterrorism

    Zionist?

...some days I wonder how people can be so stupid.

  • @braydenbeautiful I wonder the EXACT same thing.

  • Hitchens is so big headed.

  • This guy is a complete sell out to his ideology-Proof that cancer is good for something!!!Three cheers for cancer.Better to have a faith than to have no faith.Hitchens, may you burn in hell:-D

  • @deathproof74 And theists claim Atheists have no morals... It's better to have no faith. I won't be a slave to an imaginary person who dictates my waking moments.

  • @MsAlternativexxx This has absolutely nothing to do with dictatorships. This has everything to do with a man who sold his conscience to the highest bidder.Having faith in humanity has nothing to do with religion and extolling the virtues of oil over human life is absolutely despicable.Your waking moments are dictated by you and only you.As for journalistic integrity,he was found out to be nothing more than a puppet on a string.

  • Wow...the censorship has started....my link became muted....all hail Messiah Obama.

  • I don't like how Hitchens is running the show here. He was a brilliant man, a great journalist, a phenomenal speaker and thinker, but he's not particularly qualified to be lecturing on foreign policy. Perhaps he could have written a book and a few articles and been a guest on a television show, but he wasn't an expert in these affairs. He is my main influence in the way I think and write, but I have to give my honest two cents.

  • Good riddance to the braying jackass Christ' Hitchens who supported the sanctions and the war of pelf against Iraq. [Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: "We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that's more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?"; Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: "I think this is a very hard choice, but the price--we think the price is worth it." — "60 Minutes" (5/12/96)]

  • @procommenter It was Saddam not the sanctions.

  • @softskullbubblebrain : No baby formula in Baghdad was Hussein's doing?

  • @procommenter exactly.

  • @softskullbubblebrain : What a crafty C.I.A.-operative ol' Saddam was.

  • @softskullbubblebrain Who put Saddam in power?C.I.A. Just like hitchens, you are all mouth and no substance.Every time you people are asked to corroborate your pathetic arguments with some evidence, you go off in a tangent and change the subject in a vain attempt to hide your naivety and ignorance.....Oh,don't tell me,it was the Barbers that started it all in 1788 when they pissed off Jefferson!Fuck off you thick cunt!

  • He's describing Iran and it sounds to me like a perfect description of the US. How peculiar

  • I cant help but offer my points here when you think of Israel. The very reason why Iran seeks a nuclear weapon is because Israel has them an abundance. Its a massive failure of successive US administrations to have allowed this to be the case. Israel didn't sign up to the IAEA but Iran did and is now being punished for being transparent. Mordacha Vanunnu should have gotten a peace prize. Its Israel that is out of control here and may they receive the damnation their religion projects.

  • @TheMotherEagle

How can you say Iran is seeking to build nuclear weapons? There's absolutely no proof of that. Unless you're sitting with info nobody else has.

  • @piip4 I think the bit where their leader came out and accidentally admitted it. And started test firing up missiles designed to carry Nuclear warheads.

  • If Iran is not a part of the 'family of nations' because it is an 'Islamic Republic', then why do they Americans consider Saudi Arabia to be a part of the 'family of nations'? Oh sorry I forgot oil! A bit disingenuous on the part of Hitchens to skate over that bit so superficially.

  • Hitchens has been a socialist, a liberal, a radical and a neoconservative. I think that in the final analysis, he is nothing but an eloquent and educated idiot. Sorry.

  • @ibzzibrahim In my eyes, mr Hitchens is full of shit. It is perfectly clear to anyone who understands the least bit of world politics on why Iran is a global pariah, and that is not because it is an Islamic republic. Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Afghanistan are Islamic states but yet are part of the "family of nations", and all of these countries have laws which are completely ridiculous and sometimes not even related to Islam. Recently, Saudi women have been allowed to even drive.

  • @ColonelAli I'd love to see him personally respond to your tiny little comments. I cant sit here and deny Iranian government isn't a bunch of douch-bags but having said that Israel is a serious threat to the the middle east BECAUSE they have clandestinely created more than enough nukes to take out the planet. If I were sat in Iran as an Iranian national I would be making sure I had the means to respond. That is the problem. The US turns a blind eye under the 'nuclear ambiguity' policy.

  • @johan3248 I agree that there's just as much room for an Islamic country as a Jewish one, at least in principle. But practically speaking, it doesn't seem to me that Israel is seeking to create a global Caliphate, which is one of the stated goals of the Iranian mullahs. Oil is not even relevant to the discussion, because what's a stake with Iran is far greater than any question of global oil supply - the potential for nuclear blackmail is very real and very concerning.

  • @typicalmelburnian Why is it that hardly anyone talks about the Israeli Nukes and other WMDs?

  • @ibzzibrahim Because if Nation A and Nation B both have nuclear weapons, this has nothing to do with how dangerous each country is. If New Zealand and North Korea both have nuclear weapons, that does not make them equally dangerous. You have to bear in mind that nuclear weapons are principally dangerous when combined with a zealous religious ideology, as Iran's most certainly would be. Mentioning Israel is sort of a non-sequitur here, I think. That's another debate, which is most active.

  • @typicalmelburnian Why does Israel need 200 (reportedly) N bombs? How much of the world does it wish to destroy? Israel operates on a more dangerous religious ideology that Iran. Israel is very smartly using United Sates to systematically neutralize neighbors. First it was Egypt, then Iraq and now Iran. If Pakistan didn't have nukes, India would have eaten it alive by now. Since both India and Pakistan have nukes, the possibility of full scale war is zero.

  • @ibzzibrahim I think that there are some religious influences in Israel that are dangerous - especially in regard to expansion of settlements. So there's some validity to what you are saying. But the comparison with Iran is flawed - Iranians do not have true political freedom or true civil rights. Their society has been badly retarded by Islam, and particularly by the powerful (and unelected) clergy. It has, in essence, gone backwards over time. Not a great comparison, really.

  • @typicalmelburnian That kind of comment was most likely copy pasted from an American Yank tabloid, and just proved how narrowminded and STUPID you are at the same time!

  • @janjan55555 Funny, I thought your comment did just that (and far more obviously). Well done.

  • @typicalmelburnian Let me guess; Iran's a dangerous nation with ppl leading the nation who are VERY VERY fundamental!

Western Imperialism is drenched in your comments, what a shame

  • @janjan55555 And your comments are drenched in the pallid stains of a dying Islamic Caliphate, headed by an increasingly irrelevant and paranoid Ayatollah.

If you don't think the Islamic leadership which sits above the parliament of Iran is fundamentalist, then you simply aren't paying attention. You aren't paying attention to their own statements or actions (or Iran's history), but worse still, you aren't paying attention to the cries of millions of Iranians who have had enough.

  • @typicalmelburnian I want to ask you this?

    Do you speak Iranian?

    Are you from Iran?

Most likely the answer is twice "NO"! Get lost now bye bye you know nothing of Iran, I am pretty sure you can't even locate it on a blind map!

  • it's bruce willis's smarter older brother.

  • Iran is not in the world community today because they are not with the United States. Saudi Arabia is an Islamic monarchy, with absolutely crazy laws on the treatment of women, yet they are a part of the world community. As a matter of fact, they are one of the biggest customers for US military hardware, saturated with everything fom assault rifles to F-15E Strike Eagles. It has nothing to do with Islam. It has to do with the attitude towards America.

  • @ColonelAli And oil.

  • @ISMASHYOUBRO True story. I don't understand what the allure with Hitchens is. Why Iran is not "in the family of nations" would be something very clear for anybody who is the least interested in world politics. Furthermore, Afghanistan is an Islamic Republic, yet the whole world sides with Afghanistan, ship large amounts of military hardware to them and provide Afghan infantry, armoured corps and future pilots with relevant and extensive training. What's so special with Hitchens?

  • @ColonelAli and their OIL ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @ColonelAli Since when have the Wahabis in Saudi Arabia had a good attitude towards America? And lets say you are right it is about the attitude. Who gives a shit. A nation can't dislike someone who has a bad attitude towards them?

  • @chuck3668831 Since when? Since King Abdallah and his predecessors started to allow the US to pump their oil. You think America is supplying Saudi Arabia crap-tons of aid and arms because they're stupid rednecks? You go get a clue yourself.

  • @ColonelAli We supply the Saudis to counter Iran. Not because the Saudis are great towards us. Go read a Wahabi text book which the Saudi government pays to print and see how loved America is by them.

  • @chuck3668831 EHHH. You supplied the Saudis with arms and aid before the Islamic Revolution in Iran by several decades. Try again. Wahabbi's have the most ridiculous form of double standard I've seen. "Destroy America!" as brand-new, spit-shined AH-64s are shipped to King bin Abdul Aziz whenever he asks about it. Saudis give oil to you, you give guns to the Saudis. Simple. This relationship of steel will endure until American hegemony finally falls.

  • @ColonelAli EHHHHHHH! Are you saying the current arms deal with the Saudis was not to send a message to Iran? And we get oil from them. So what. We get oil from Venezuela too. We aren't great friends to them either. Yet Venezuela is one of our top suppliers of oil. We don't have a relationship of "steel" with Venezuela. Get a clue.

  • @ColonelAli it has everything to do with islam, irans insane posturing on jews and gays and women, for a start. They, like all islamic states, are broken, insane countries with rabid theocratic police states obesessed about virginity checks and the incredibly orwellian 'religious police'. Any country with a 'relgious police' is going to be at odds with a free one - to say islam has nothing to do with it is irrational

  • @ColonelAli I believe there are still roughly ten stonings a year in iran for the 'crime' of adultery and other insanities. Be careful and sure about who you are defending, or judging by your name you are a muslim on a campaign of misinformation.

  • @hieraxhideo You are a liar!

  • @tusi1390 no i'm not, youtube 'Iranian Woman To Face Death By Stoning Or Hanging' -- there is a hitchens interview from 2009 I think where I got the 10/yr stat - who knows for sure what goes on in such a shithole? I know they beheaded a 'sorcerer' in saudi arabia recently. Why would I lie?

  • @hieraxhideo I know there are such stone age laws in some muslim countries as you said but not all muslim countries and it very rarely happened in iran not every year.

  • @tusi1390 fair enough - but the fact that it happened at all in recent centuries is pretty bad

  • @tusi1390 get rid of all muslims, they are still living in the dark ages

  • @jfk13f Your comment is the essence of dark age behavior.

  • @jfk13f Does that make them unfit to inhabit this world? There are plenty of species of ant who are not evolutionarily fit to coinhabit with other ants. Should we erradicate them?

  • @TheEasternStandard The fact that you want to equate human beings with ant families seems to be kind of besides the point. Liberals tend to ignore the fact that you can't compromise with terrorists, it's not I personally don't WANT to live in a world that's multicultural and free, it's because it's impossible with a group of people that just want to kill everyone. Iran wants a nuke, for what? To deter the USA from invading? We'll see if that's their agenda.

  • @hieraxhideo "campaign of misinformation"? you believe there are ten stoning a year, can you please post a single source for this. the hypocrisy man, your accusing someone of daring to be a muslim, and spreading of misinformation while on the same paragraph you do just that. what ColonelAli said is exactly a fact, except that he left out a key point, that america is controlled by jewish interests.

  • @rumcent Nobody's controlled by 'jewish intersests'. Everybody knows there's stonings in Iran, it isn't even denied. How many nobody knows because the place is too fucked up to keep proper records of anything. I just watched a video of some stonings there on liveleak so don't pretend its never happened. No misinformation there. Your 'jewish' ranting is embarrassing.

  • @hieraxhideo it seems like you have a dog in this argument, your a jew. find me the source where you said 10 stoning a year, you idiot. i never denied there is stoning in iran, there is a death penalty in the US, so whats you point? everybody knows the US is controlled by jews with an agenda, jews LIKE YOU.

  • @rumcent ha, no i'm not a jew you crazy desert rat, but knew a sand nigger like you couldnt help but get your monkey-brain boiling at taht -- im snow white - a civilized european man - something you'll never be. I can't remember that source but just google iran and stoning, then fuck off and go beat one of your child brides or blow yourself up or something.

  • @hieraxhideo . I bet you don't air these views among your Muslim friends considering your deep insights into the beliefs and aspirations of over a BILLION PEOPLE. Oh you don't know any? What a shock.

  • @rumcent death penalty in us for killers and rapists (like your people) is quite different, you painfully slow and typically uneducated third world retard, from stoning women for supposed adultery and other crimes only an insane, gibbering monkey-folk like your semetic peoples could conjure up. I would have thought even an ape like you could see the reasoning there? 'us has death penalty=stoning so what' - thats funny apeman

  • @hieraxhideo im sensing allot of hostility from you against iranians. if your not a jew, then you seem to be a typical racist. iran is a diverse country, like the US. i know they dont teach you allot in US schools. google police brutality in the US, or google extraordinary rendition, waterboarding...ect. the fact is (you probably dont care about facts), stoning is a VERY rare punishment (one in 20 years) in iran, and its reserved for cases of adultery with unusual brutality involved.

  • @rumcent Don't confuse Jews with Zionists, many Jews are good people who love god and are faithfully working their spiritual path. The Zionists are the problem, they hate ALL gentiles and love war.

  • @ColonelAli as much reasonable shit as Hitchens says he sometimes comes across as a mouth piece for all of the support the US gives to Israel. Any and all of the US's "terror states" are actually larger enemies of Israel than any other nation. Are you really afraid that arabs could disrupt daily american life in any real way. cont*

  • @Nyquirk *cont. If you don't get the question imagine, you live in iraq or pakistan... even if you could find 10,000 supporters of whatever anti american movement, now launch a sucessful attack on the US from across the Atalntic, with no hardware.

  • @ColonelAli @ColonelAli sorry Ali I didn't mean to make it seem like it was directed at you. I'm lending support to your point. I put in the example of attack because there are many that are so awed by Hitchen's brilliance they miss that some of the premise he starts with isn't necessarily agreeable.

  • iran = world's asshole

  • @thenewrapstyle not really, I would say the US is looked at as being more of an ass...by far actually.

  • Anyone who supported bush has to be a moron.

  • @MrCombatveteran

and communism and it's followers killed in the name of what God? The only one they worshipped.....MARX

  • @shanestrange religion was considered an private matter in the soviet union as it should, and comunisme was no more " worshiped" then democracy is in the western world now..

  • @stesta90

"religion was considered an private matter in the soviet union"

    lol

  • @stesta90 i think you missed my point, I love Hitch but he belives that religion is behind all evil and "poisons everything". If that's true, than how does he explain the atrocities commited by Communists? He never answers this and quite frankly, neither have you. As far as it being a "private matter" in the Soviet Union, you're "sugar coating" their policies

  • @shanestrange

He has answered the question ad nauseam.

  • @shanestrange He dedicates a good portion of his book "God is Not Great" to the atrocities of communism; he also has become quite disillusioned with socialism in general and is quoted as saying "... does not quite explain Marx’s later failure, in 'Capital,' to grasp quite how revolutionary capitalist innovation really was." He is a Marxist, not a socialist or communist by any means. The idealism behind communism and the paradise promised by it are reminiscent of religion. Get your facts straight

  • @cronos1188

what facts do I not "have straight"? Did i present any falsehood? As i said, I'm a huge fan of Christopher and love listening to him, however, he is still a Marxist and i have on many occasions heard him "apologize" for communism on talk radio, which was disappointing. I've heard him say he has the same "fear" of christians and Jews that he has of radical islamists which even HE had a tough time explaining. Sorry, but Marxists/ Socialists/Communists are kissing cousins

  • @shanestrange They are not kissing cousins. Take for example Aristotle theories of rhetoric and poetry; just because you believe those theories govern rhetoric doesn't mean you accept his ludicrous theory of the four elements (earth, wind, fire, and water- i believe correct me if i am wrong) As for your second quandary; the same faith based absurd deductions that drive airplanes into buildings lead people to believe that crackers turn to Christ; therefore, it is dangerous to have leaders

  • @cronos1188

only a look at the 20th century would prove you wrong being that they eventually end up at the same point, with overbearring gov't power of which we need to be wary of in our own country.

As far as "crackers turning to Christ", that's as an absurd a statement as the self-absorbed and arrogant turning to atheism. I believe neither to be true

  • @shanestrange Your argument contains the slippery slope fallacy; just because we will make healthcare a government policy does not mean we will turn into the PRC. Your argument is ludicrous and belies some paranoia an your part. :)

  • Respond to this video... using puerile, barbaric texts to aid their judgement.

  • @shanestrange just because religion sucks, doesnt mean that ALL atrocities are committed by them. Same as how all good things don't come from religion.

  • @MrCombatveteran I am not religious, but I think it keeps unintelligent people (and 99% of people in any society are, unavoidably, unintelligent) in line, because they don't have the kind of mental faculties required to see the implications of their actions. Therefore, they need something to fear, be it hell or the wrath of their respective omnipotent deity, to ensure their cooperation with others, which is of course conducive to the perpetuation of civilization.

  • @CaramelMarshmallow I agree that religion is a dictator's best tool for suppression, but surely 99% of the population cannot be unintelligent. That says itself; 50% are moderately unintelligent to outright stupid, not 99%.

You're probably employing a less orthodox definition whereby you just mean less intelligent than yourself, haughty though that is.

  • @MrCombatveteran Your overly hostile and simplistic historical views of the writers of holy texts betrays only your own biases, not those of the people of whom you speak. They were hardly "dysfunctional", and many of the greatest philosophers in human history were highly religious men. Pythagoras being a prime example.

  • Misleading headline. I think it's much more a condemnation of America's enemies (we tried to reach out, they snubbed us) than a blanket condemnation of Obama's foreign policy. At worst he's saying Obama seems to be winging it, and he can't find a spokesman to consult on what his overall plan is, vis-a-vis Iran and similar countries.

  • Government by the people for the people has long gone down the tubes. Government passes unconstitutional laws without the time for congress to even read them before voting. The government follows a policy that would not stand up to a referendum and shamelessly gives in to lobby groups who put the elected where they are in the first place. We've become a mock democracy that lies to it's public to start wars and maintain them for interests that do not apply to the common civilian.

  • no, the founder of the bible, koran and torah are not evil men, but simply stupid people

was there a discription on the people with tinfoil hats 2000 years ago?

  • @MrCombatveteran I agree.

  • @Darkrage187 Enter the skeptic. If the Quran was written by the creator of the Universe (which Islam claims), then the least he could do (and should be able to) is give mankind a book everyone can understand. Since there are so many different interpretations, he obviously could not. He created human beings. He should know us then. We humans have flaws, but obviousley so does he then. Men created God out of ignorance, regardless of whether or not a God really excists. Same goes for Christianity.

  • HItch is bald what happen T.T

  • @KEEETARO He has cancer, but I'm not sure which part of his body he has it in. It's probably from his love of alcohol or his excessive smoking.

  • @kerpalh Esophageal cancer and yes from his smoking and drinking

  • this is a very antimarxist analysis of the situation in the middle east. Fuck the Iranian regime, but Fuck hitchens too. The U.S. and "family of nations" wouldnt give ten shits about human rights. It's all about oil.

  • These comments are ridiculous

  • Confused knob.

  • @0mla1 Why do you call me a terrorist and a liar, when I bring you proof from your own religion over and over again to show you that you are deluded and that your religion is evil. You tell me to get my ideas from an Islamic source and I gave you texts from the Quran, you can't get any more of an Islamic source than the Quran or can you? The Quran openly teaches slavery and that its okay to have sexual relations with slaves. I gave you the sura's that state it. Please wake up.

  • @nomorenigsplease Don't believe you. Already have an education. Thanks. They do not help themselves, i agree, but to say they are terrorists and that muslim extremists are not, is fucking stupid. Get an education.

  • FUCK ISLAM!!! IT NEVER CONTRIBUTED ANYTHING TO THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY, GOOD FOR NOTHING JOKE OF A RELIGION. IT BRINGS NOTHING BUT NEGATIVITY, DEPORT ALL MUSLIMS BACKTO THE SHIT HOLE THEY MADE FOR THEMSELVES.

  • @colouredbills

Silly. The Arab empires during the crusades had saved much classical Greek and Roman knowledge that had been lost to imbecile barbarians. Christian Europe was backwards in nearly every way in comparison. To say they've given nothing is foolishness.

  • Obscurantist/historical revisionist Christ' Hitchen's promotes eugenics and the end of U.S. sovereignty. His naturalized citizenship must be reviewed for possible revocation.

  • Support my You-Tube initiative to DEPORT CHRISTOPHER HITCHENS for PROMOTING the unconstitutional war in Iraq. Post: DEPORT CHRISTOPHER HITCHENS FOR TREASON!

  • Traitor Christ' Hitchens, the "intellectual," places blind faith in the chemico-/ radio-“therapies” utilized to frustrate (or thwart) the placental on-slaught of crab cancer, even though they are serologically worthless. Admire his pig-headedness.

  • @thomask365 But I do understand its appeal, and sometimes I'm even jealous of religious people. They claim to have a solid truth, I doubt everything. But claiming something which is obviously wrong to be true is just stupid. I'd rather have no belief in anything than to belief in an obvious lie.

  • @thomask365 the best part of religion is indeed the warm blanket it provides, telling people there is an afterlife. If 2000 years ago a guy would have walked the earth who told humankind to love eachother and who told people some very good morals, and who said God loved us all, but then said that when you would die there would be nothing, no afterlife and all that. How many followers do you think he would have then and now?

  • @thomask365 The Quran promises pussy in the afterlife, which is basically what all religion comes down to in its core. The number of 72 virgins comes from the hadith, which are like the stories about the life of Muhammed, and sometimes about the lifes of the people around him like his 6 year old bride Aisha, whom according to the hadiths muhammed had sex with when she was nine, making him a pedophile.

  • IconsOfTeleplay says Hitchens should be denied citizenship. So, every politician who's questioned the Constitution should be stripped of citizenship? Hitchens supports the Constitution more than most politicians and more than some who have held the highest office in the land. AFAIK, his only public criticism of the Constitution has been the appropriate complaint that inclusion in the narrative of an entirely mythical god demeans the solemnity and promise of the document and should be excised.

  • IconsOfTeleplay says Hitchens shoule be denied citizenship.

  • IconsOfTeleplay...The constitution does not state that it's citizens have to agree with politician's policies. Indeed, citizens are given the right to make their dissent known.

  • As far as the US and UK is concerned Saudi Arabia is a model state and a part of the "community of nations". You can tell by the amount of weapons and military training that goes to that particularly odious regime. The US opposes nuclear non-proliferation in the region because it's ally Israel is an expansionist nuclear power. Whatever you think of Iran it is surrounded by US occupation forces and nuclear states like India and Pakistan which are US allies.

  • Radiation causes radiation-sickness yet it is extremely profitable for physicians in ineffectually treating the chronic metabolic disease known as cancer.

  • In 1995 the importation, into the United States, of bitter almond trees was banned. Bitter almonds (not the sweet almonds that the stores sell) are a rich source of Amygdalin (vitamin B17). Indeed the word Amygdalin comes fr. amygdaline: of, relating to, or resembling an almond. The citizens of the West are vitamin deficient and suffer from sub-clinical (borderline) scurvy, night blindness, beriberi and a host of other chronic metabolic (vitamin-deficiency) diseases.

  • @IconsOfTeleplay Another nugget of teabagger wisdom

  • Woah, Hitchens shaved his head?

    He looks like a proto-Don S. Davis.

  • @BoushiGaikokujin He has cancer...

  • @0mla1 So what is your proof, Islam is true? Please come up with something to support the huge claim it makes on your life as a muslim. Saying something is true and calling anyone who claims otherwise a liar, doesn't make it true. If you enjoy books like the Quran, may I make some other suggestions: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban or any of the Narnia books. You might like em.

  • @whackthedog Your a terrorist in your heart. The only difference between you and another terrorist is that your scared to act out what is in your corrupted mind. Keep your evil lies to yourself and stop calling others to your terrorist mentality. Go and look up some authentic hadith, study Islam from a muslim source and ask about all the questions you have. Stop believing your corrupted non-islamic source from which you get your incorrect ideas of Islam from.

  • @0mla1 I don't hate muslims, I just know that their religion is a danger to the world and an embarresment to the human race. You tell me to use a logic mind? What do you mean by this, and do you use it yourself. Do you honestly believe Muhammed flew from Medina to Jerusalem in one night (some say on a flying horse; Harry Potter much?). Yet you have no proof of this, except some writing on paper. Allah doesn't excist, I just wrote it, not on paper, but I wrote it.

  • @0mla1 So you say Muhammed married a child for good reason? What reason is that? The Hadiths claim that he had intercourse with her when she was nine years old, making him the pedophile of the millenium, and that is also why it is legal for older men to marry young girls of nine years old in certain countries like Iran and Saudi Arabia. So he married a child so she could write the hadiths about his life? Are you high? You think that that is a good reason to marry a child?

  • @0mla1 I didn't say Islam is a racist religion, I said Muhammed was a racist and I gave you the hadith's to look up yourself. So look them up yourself instead of calling me a liar.

  • @0mla1 Sura 24:32 And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among YOUR MALE SLAVES AND YOUR FEMALE SLAVES. So where is this verse that mentions to stop all slavery? Seems like an important verse. Where is it?

  • @0mla1 Still haven't heard a rational arguement why you are a muslim, so I'm still presuming its because your parents told you. Muslims always are so proud that Islam is the fastest growing religion, yet it only grows so fast because they have the most children, and filling the heads of children with lies doesn't impress me at all. Children believe in Santa Clause. He's like Allah, only with a bigger beard and flying deers.

  • @0mla1 Sura 4: 23: And also prohibited to you are all married women EXCEPT THOSE YOUR RIGHT HAND POSSESS. So no marrying and f-ing women that are already married, except when you possess them, than its not a problem at all. Stop calling me a liar and come up with some proof to support your claims.

  • @0mla1 You seem too lazy to read your own holy book, so here you go. Sura 23 starts like this: Certainly will the believers have succeeded: They who are during their prayer humbly submissive and they who turn away from ill speech, and they who are observent of Zakah, and (here it comes) they who guard their private parts, EXCEPT from their wives and THOSE WHO THEIR RIGHT HAND POSSESSES, for indeed they will not be blamed. There you have it, Straight from the camels mouth.

  • @0mla1 Please give me the hadith that mentions that Muhammed ended slavery. Letting go of one slave isn't exactly the same as ending slavery. If you keep the rest, letting one go isn't even that impressive. Even the Quran mentions slavery, but there isn't one verse about ending slavery. Please show me that, instead of just calling me a liar. So far you make huge claims, but don't give me anything to support these claims. Please do that, instead of calling me a liar.

  • @0mla1 I understand if you don't choose to believe what I say, that's why I strongly urge you to look up these hadiths yourself. Then get back to me. The Hadiths do excist, so look them up yourself from whatever source you think if good enough.

  • @whackthedog I feel sorry for the guy, obviously guess work as to what he answered you but it is hard to let go of a religion (as I know) when everyone you loved taught you it with all their misguided hearts. I felt that it was the promise of having a drink with people I have lost that kept me half beliveing the shite. Whats all that about 72 virgins anyway? Sounds like a sexually imature ranting of a pedo.

  • @0mla1 Please look up the Hadiths I mentioned yourself. Please do this research yourself. Than get back to me with a response, instead of just claiming I'm totally biased. I got all this information from your own religions hadiths. Please have a look at them yourself. You owe it to yourself.

  • @whackthedog You just proved to yourself why i try my hardest not to bother with you. You have no interest in anything i have to say in my attempts to get you to think logically because it goes against an Islam hating source from which you get your information.

  • @whackthedog To answer some of your silly questions. If you study the Prophet's life you will notice that very shortly after he became the prophet, he released his slave and encouraged others to do so.

Islam is not a racist religion, very well known fact. Millions of Africans, Arabs, Europeans, etc. stand
