Well there was a guy who panicked and so more people panicked and thought there would be a bomb or something. So someone yelled: bomb and threw down the fences which caused the whole crowd to run for their lives (so they thought) ... It's still in everyone's memories what happened on Queensday 2009 where somebody tried to attack the royal family and drove his car through a crowd which caused (I think) 9 deaths...

Peolpe started to panic cause it was at the end of two minutes silence we take to honour the death. Complete Amsterdam made no sound, only this guy, ofcourse you would panic.
