i disagree. joe davis is certainly one of the best players ever but he doesn't belong to the modern era. And in the modern era, who won more WSC, who won more ranking titles, whoe made more century breaks and who was the absolute dominator of the sport during many years ????

me too, there hasn't been a player since who has taken over his crown. A few had the potential O'Sullivan, Higgins, Williams, Maguire...but they don't have the mental strength or consistency of Hendry or Davis.  I'm looking forward to seeing a worthy heir to their throne.
