@bulletinman you're the first one that I've seen that says the original GN'R sucks. it's not only about how well you play. you have to have feeling!
you can play really, really well, but if it hasn't got a soul it doesn't do it for me. it has to be real, if they miss a note or hit the wrong chord sometimes that's fine with me. it makes them real. in my opinion you don't just have to be a professional in order to play music.

@LesPaul171 Even in the 80s and 90s Axl and Duff both wanted to add a third guitarist besides Slash and Izzy/Gilby, and they auditioned guitarists several times. After many months of not being able to find the right guy to complement the other two, they decided to give up, so when Axl started GnR up again, he made it a priority to have 3 guitarists.
