EA had distributive control over the console version of Team Fortress 2, and wanted to charge people money for the free updates that Valve was offering. Valve didn't want to charge people money for updates, so they just decided not to put them on.

In addition to being able to somewhat choose when to deploy the mini crits for the Soda Popper, once it has, you can switch weps to say.. your pistol, and the mini crit effects will pass on, letting you do heaps of damage with it... or a mini crit fish :D

there is a way to save the hype meter!!! u just switch weapons just before the meter is full it will only fill up if u have the soda popper equipped. so just fill up your meter and switch to ur pistol and when u need it just switc gain tada problem solved

Splendid Screen:

Resistance only applies to explosive and fire damage. Bullets/melee don't get their damage reduced.

Boots:

They increase charge turn speed. You could turn before, but not a lot.

"Pyros are still your worst enemies":

It's why you have the charge, mid healthpack on kill and fire resistance. Use them.

Overdose:

Only increases speed when it's out.

Really? The Revolver (not a pistol) with cloak and dagger? FYI, with the DR there's no weakness to using it.

The Soda Popper:

Only builds hype when you run with it selected. Pick the winger/pistol if you wish to save hype for a fight.

The Winger:

Fires at the same speed the regular pistol, but has less (5) bullets in its magazine.

Reserve Shooter:

Minicrits airborne targets, not limited to targets juggled by your rockets.

Detonator:

Only minicrits. Knockback from detonation can be used to jump higher...

a heavy can only do really damage in medium range or closer, on some maps if you don't know how to ambush you just cannot play heavy well offensively
