hey can you make tuorial.I am working on project that have car explosion but with after effects i cant create good car explosion i need with 3ds max but.
great vid but there are some black edges on the explosion, since its pre-keyed, the way to fix that is by setting the transfer mode of theexplosion to either "screen" or "add" :-)
not that much realistic but its cool... try to distroy the car in many parts and the car cant fly that much after the explosion it can just jump up about a meter and then burn and get a black color from the chad...
@tommson13 nah it wasn't a real car as he said to the other dude he used 3dmax and adobe after effects and 3dmax can make cars but will need exprience with that software if you want to make a car lol i carn't use that software to save my life lol

I love that you actually brought in a 3d program instead of just using a still image like everyone else always does. The actual explosion looks like it took place behind the car, i would make the light wrap around the edge of the car a little more perhaps. Still a really neat effect shot.
