One of the most beautiful and touching videos I've ever watched. I've learned a lot from this man, and already I feel as though I must live up to the old-fashioned, dedicated and respectful beautiful man he was. I'm just happy to say I'm too young to have been given the chance to meet him and fully appreciate him. Wish he were still around so I could walk up and shake his hand and thank him for helping inspire and raise me.

Victor Borge was a musical and comic genius loved by millions! After watching this documentary, however, I find his personal life sad that he was addicted to the stage and an absent father for the most part. Your kids will only be little once, a crucial time for building a close relationship and having an influence on them. I can't help but think that Mr. Borge could have had more personal relationship with his kids and perhaps passed on some of his talent to them just as his dad did to him.

A very moving story and life. Thank you so much for posting this bergholdt. All the way through it there was a lovely piece of music, especially at the beginning of part 6 and where his daughter was describing his passing. Can you please tell me who it is and what its called? Every time I heard this wonderful music I was reminded of "Shawshank Redemption" and "Field of Dreams". I would love to hear the full piece. Thank you again for a very moving film.

Absolutely amazing. Thank you for posting this video & translating with English subtitles. I have loved Victor Borge since I was little. Just his unique way of grabbing an audience & his musical comedic genius is something that will never be replaced. A truly amazing man. I miss him & still can't believe he's gone. Thanks for the laughs, Mr. Borge. May you live on in heaven playing away to your hearts content. We miss you down here. God must have needed some laughs & superb piano playing. RIP.
