Weren't the Flying Tigers a group of volunteer airmen that flew as volunteers in the Pacific before the US actually was part of WWII? I think they did things like paint their planes different colors every few missions and take off from different bases every few missions to make the enemy think that there were more of them than there actually were? lol...
