i was browsing the net, one site says press f11 while rebooting and then you can enter the safe mode and here you will be able to change the admin password. but i dont have a clue how to defrag it, can you guide me if that is a valid method. the operating system is windows xp pro. i dont have a windows install disk but maybe it can be arranged. but again the drive doesnt work, thankyou for your time
There are several ways you could do it, simplest is to use a live cd with a linux Operating system running, this allows you to access the hard drive without any passwords.
This will allow you to recover your files onto an external drive.
After that I would suggest doing a factory reset, nice clean slate for your laptop anyway.
I do give you permission to download it with youtube downloader and use it for your own videos (some credit would be nice) take a look at my other videos to find more music made by me!
For software I used the free audacity program to record into my PC and edit the sound, Audacity is an audio editor it cannot create audio it can only edit.

There are so many people that say this trick will make you an admin but it does not work (unless you are an admin which defeats the point anyway) try googling what you are looking for though.

If so, who are you trying to get the password from? school computer? home computer?
have you read the below comment I posted 6 months ago stating that it is HARD to do it without going to some considerable bother.
and when I mean HARD I mean it takes a bit more knowledge than downloading a tool off google and clicking CRACK PASSWORDS

Do you have a operating system which you can install onto it? i.e do you have an install disk for windows?
if so, simply wipe the hard drive and re-install windows, if it was a thrown out computer you would want to start from scratch anyway.
