Hello Zedo , I just followed all the steps for rooting the htc evo, and for some reason well it starts installing the first fase, it said Main Version is older and it does not goes to the next step on running all installation , it doesn't even take you to boot so you can hit up , so can you pleas give me another link other than the one you posted so I can get the new PC36IMG.zip folder Please!!!

This videos is not the most informative!!! It does not give you the SUPERUSER app, which is by far the coolest app for ROOTED phones.

If anyone needs help for rooting there phones just use XDA.

No there are no issues with rooting, jailbreaking, or hacking the phone. Unless you are do not follow the instructions! Which then you might have a brick.

But the value of rooting the phone is phenomenal.

4. Linux Kernel (If you know how to program, this makes the OS of the Android Device even more open Platform

No, most sprint workers will tell you otherwise. Because if you brick your phone It is not covered under contract. But when you "root" your phone sprint still sends you texts, bills, and other shit. Just keep it on the DL if anything gets damaged.

Hey Max, thanks again for the videos, I rooted and flashed the supersonic rom, I do have the "superuser permission" app, but when I open that, its just a black screen... and each time I try to run an app, (like tether or overclock) that require root and SU permission, the same black window pops up and apps, need to be "force quit".... any ideas?!

Hey guys, if you are having problems with the drivers, (using windows 7 32 bit) I just installed the HTC Sync, and the drivers worked! Also if you have problems flashing the supersonic, make sure to wipe cashe manually before you flash. ;o) Thanks for the great video and help!
