A few days before the 29th. My spirit always thinks of Mic this time of year and of course my fingers follow and I return to these many wonderful moments. What talents. What friends. May we all be blessed with friendships the likes of what these two had.
Wow...cool dude.....btw....here's some nice busker competition....a lot of cool buskers there ... enjoy =) randrworld[dot]com/buskers-competition.php
Absolutely brilliant, this is the sort of busking & passion that makes Dublin great,i visit every year from England to film Buskers for my youtube channel & this is a magical place for musicians, don't lose your identity Dublin & become americanised keep it irish you are fantastic people!!
This the type of talent we should be seein busking and having a laugh on the streets of Dublin now!
Not romanian gypsy bands!
It angers me sooo much that we have lost and compromised our own heritage, culture and Out-going ness just to be acceptant of others in our country, We should never compromise ourselves inspite of others as a nation or an individual!
You're dead right mate.. Ireland disappeared up it's own arse until now, and thats because we're poor again.. Ireland was never meant to be rich..People who grew up in ireland who craved material wealth left and the rest of us were happy for them to go.. But seeing scoolkids go around in their Daddy's Merc with their mates was a bit much for me...This isn't Beverly Hills.
@poodunnit: Spare me your Bolshie bullshit. Money frees men from drudgery, it frees women from exploitation and it gives children the best possible shot at proper education.
I saw Glen (Swell Season) in Dallas on their American tour and it wasn't 'Americanized' at all. They even payed tribute to the Clancy Bros in an encore of Red Chord with the song 'Parting Glass'. They bring positive attention towards Irish culture. They represent such a beautiful, magical, inspirational piece if Ireland.
Nah you did'nt get what I ment I did not mean Mic or glen as Musicians I ment This was 2000 Ani within the space of 2 years Irish socitey had become very wealthy on whole and then aspried to be like what saw on American TV.... All of a suden Dubliners had lost a very special part of their clutural identity.......And there for True Dublin Street art sutch as the lads.....was made to suffer....So that's what I ment I sure SOME Of my fellow Dubliners will concur.....
@Mick342 oh please! if people didnt want that store there, it wouldnt be there...what does a trendy store have to do with this vid anyway? as if ur the only person on the planet that does follow trends..c'mon lighten up..just enjoy the music. peace

Freakin' great!!!
Awesome crowd too. I love this.
Mic Chrsitopher died in 2001, right?
So, when was this shot?
Nothing like this happens in most of our shopping districts in the US.
At least in that sense, this is still uniquely Dublin.
We seem to prefer climate controlled all-under-one-roof malls.
And FWIW- Elvis DID NOT write this. It was written by Mark James.

@cmac1223 Don't think Elvis ever wrote anything. Didn't he just sing stuff written by other people?

@YusefGuitarum yes, you are right, somebody else was using my account. Sorry for the inconvinience
