  • Well what is the proper way of pronouncing @BadgerCheese94 then? I usually pronounce it as BAD-jer CHEEZ NINE-ty FOR

  • Chloe is a french name. You have to pronounce it french style. "Clho-eh" and not "Clho-ee"

  • @dadatsointsoin No, you do not. English is not French.

Or else you are pronouncing France wrong. And you spell and pronounce Deutchland wrong..

  • @trlkly or you can pronounce it "HAIHXNAIHDIJSNCIHAISHJSNCICCSHSHSHSHHSHS"

  • thats my name

  • This is why the name is written with a trema on the 'e' (as Chloë) in most European languages and in England until recently. The lack of diacritic marks in English, and the disappearance of them in the spelling of many foreign-derived words, causes people unfamiliar with their usage to not understand how they're used.

  • I like how the description says "This video shows you how to say Chloe." Like, gee, does that mean I can turn the sound off and stare at the word until I pronounce it right?

  • You know what's sad? My names Chloe and all my teachers call cha~lee~uh. I'm like, "Hello? It's kloe-ee!"

  • @44Ryan77

Had your parents ever heard the name Chloe before they named her it? I've never heard it pronounced anything but clo-ee by English speakers.

  • @arc27 Lol i was joking.

  • This is supposed to be the fashion house Chloe? In that case it's wrong.

  • @frederikhoejgaard No, he's saying the given name not the fashion house.

  • @frederikhoejgaard well the video appers in relation to 'how to pronounce Lanvin' and 'Hermes' and 'Louboutin' and 'Gucci' and 'Moet' and the likes (:

  • I'm such a fucking dick, when I was little I'd read this as "Chole."

  • @MrChantelleA lol same and you would say it like cho Lay

  • Chloe ? from Smallville ? haha

  • If you're Zach Galifianakis you pronounce it CH-low-ee

  • why the hell you first say chlo-e then chlo-i then again chlo-e?

wft you read "e" first e then i?

  • really now, who doesn't know how to pronounce chloe?

  • I thought it was pronounced clitoris

  • Really? I thought it was "BURRR"

  • Queen.......

  • Aren't names generally pronounced however the parents intend them to be pronounced, regardless of the name's spelling?

  • @uRBruna i believe they are referring to the designer. and there is a popular name to say that name. some people find this helpful. no need to bitch.

  • @mimitsu333 Calm down, it was merely a question in response to nearly every comment before mine.

  • @uRBruna Yeah much like the increasingly poular name "Abcde" said as "ab-seh-dee"

  • @FlyingWhaleHarooooo

    or : (pronounced Collin)

    and La-a (pronounced Ladasha)

  • @uRBruna Exactly.

  • @uRBruna considering this post is linked to the "how to" pronunciation videos for other French fashion houses, this is how to pronounce the name of a specific brand, not a persons name.

  • @uRBruna well I've got a friend who is written dial and its pronounced charles so i sues your right :D

  • @uRBruna Take it from someone who's parents mispronounce their name.. No.

  • @uRBruna Yeah, I mean, my name is Jason and it's pronounced Jeremy.

  • @uRBruna hi my name is drunkenbitchwholikestouseautotuneandsuckdickimakeoutwithgirlsforpublicity its pronouced kesha

  • @uRBruna Yeah, that's why we end up with Siobhan sounding more like "SHE BORN"?? than SIO BAN! At least it's not as bad as calling your child fucking Rainbow.

  • @Roksonixx so would fucking be the first name and rainbow the middle? Or would you hyphenate?

I would hyphenate personally. as in Fucking-Rainbow.

  • @uRBruna Yes. In ireland. Otherwise, it is singlehandedly responsible for the phenomenon that makes lower-middle class american kids look like they were named by illiterates.

  • @uRBruna Does that mean you could name you son john but call him steve?

  • Comment removed

  • @yosniffy and without the accent on the last e, grammatically, its just pronounced chlo

  • @yosniffy Its Chlo-Ay when spelled like Chloé. Chlo-Eee when spelled like Chloe or Chloë. My name is Chloe.

  • ouch! stop it please. that hurts!
