Simply awesome. In my opinion the best cover version to ever be made of this song. The gospel is beautiful. It really makes me wish I could write music this beautiful.
Anyways, I do write some kind of music. Wanted to share it with you. I also might be sometimes soon covering this song. Right now I got a couple of original compositions in my channel. It'll be great if you check it out.
And thanks for uploading this awesome cover! Music never makes me cry, but this time it was really close :)
honestly i hated this movie..like a lot..but this song blew me the fuck away like i really would rather hear her sing it then the beatles! haven't listened to it once without getting sniffly! i feel like her and joe cocker are the only ones who didn't fuck up a beatles tune.
I cry'd first time i watch this part of the movie, i still cry ever time i watch it, it is one of the most powerful videos iv ever watch, like this if you cry'd
today I discovered one of my best friends had been killed in a car crash last night. I have never felt a pain this intense in my entire life. and the only comfort I can find is through music. and this song, this video, is the kind of medicine I need.
the Detroit Riot started in a bar called The Blind Pig. I am happy to say that in my high schools production of Across The Universe I was cast as the child that sings Let It Be.
ahh the US in a few yrs when the economy collapses and the nazi government run by the tea baggers / republicans sends out the troops to kill americans
1 person didnt cry and does'nt have a soul. if you dont cry to this you have no soul. i cried like a bitch in the theatre when i saw this on opening night. i love how this happens right after everything is all happy and joyful then BAM rips your damn heart out. powerful stuff. im still tearing up.
damn i was fine until the mother broke down, reminds me of my mom, i dont think she could even hold herself together long enough to get the flag if i was K.I.A.
Carol Woods has one of the best voices I've ever heard before. Timothy is amazing for how old he was in this too. which I think was like 12 or 13 at the time.
i watched this the day my father was killed. i had watched it previously, but now it takes on a whole other meaning. i still cant hear/see it without bursting into tears, but how i love it. heartbreaking but beautiful. n

I did military funeral once when I was just beginning my Mil career, I have to say it was the hardest thing to stand there motionless. Just wanted to cry but we had to be strong for them.
Before my uncle died, I never cried when I heard this song. At his funeral, they played this, and now I start crying after the first note. A truly beautiful song.
the first to admit i also cry when I see this - really loves this film. Really begin to cry when I think about the familys for who this is reality as we speak because of the war in iraq - WHY WHY WHY !!!!
@ECL28E no it is just an exaggeration to get a point across. I love this scene and I really was not thinking when I put the comment down. no hard feelings man.

He died a week later. He was 13. It had been a mistaken identity. He was the sweetest boy, and I think of him every time I see that little boy in that casket. It really does change you.
