  • What are the gauges that are mounted on the steering column? And where is the best place to get them and the housing for them?

  • You can clearly see the boost runs constant over 22 PSI on that VDO gauge. If you are selling this kit to people you need to advise them the tuner increases the boost WELL over safe limits for that stock turbo. These turbos should NEVER run over 18 PSI, they are just not designed for that

  • Really, I've run over 22PSI on mine for almost 80,000km. Maybe you should tell my turbo its days are numbered. I've drag raced competitively, hauled trailers, and daily driven for 3 years like this.

Having a proper downpipe and exhaust makes all the difference in reliability and performance my friend.

  • @SuperChicken13 Yea u must be smarter than 47,000 people on tdiclub that have seen bunch of these turbos fail because of overboosts, right at 22 psi, i can take this turbo apart with my eyes closed and yes i am telling u, your turbo's days ARE numbered. yes you can get enormous amount of power by boosting to 22 psi but that is why we spend 1200 bucks for a hybrid turbocharger that can handle those kinds of pressures, because we prefer not to have failed pieces of the turbo going thru the engine

  • Does bosio make nozzles for the 100 hp 1.9l tdi on a 04 jetta? Whats the difference between the tuning box and the revo ecu tuning?

  • @024reredrum Yes, not cheap though. Revo replaces the ECM software with a flash, the boxes are non intrusive and non permanent.

  • Can you disable the egr valve with a jsp tuner?

  • no, requires separate ecm flash depending on year. the tuning boxes are non intrusive

  • Chipping will actually increase your gas mileage unless you have a lead foot.

  • how much are you getting with both the controller and the box. I have the same setup i was just curios as to the torque.

  • what are the cons to this system? more power, no smoke, sounds great. how come VW doesn't do this all the time from the factory?

  • Too much power for the general public to handle.. They'd complain about wheelspin and speeding tickets. :) haha

  • I need to get this!! :)

    BTW, how much torque???

  • About 280

  • DJ Champion - Guy Doune - in the credits. :)

  • What music is this, someone knows??!

  • All parts used on this vehicle are available at jsperformance(dot)ca

  • what are the gauges for?

  • Left on is turbo boost the right one exhaust temperature but not sure for the right one

  • exactly what golf parts did u get to make it run up to 162 hp (I would like to get a list together :()

  • The vehicle is a 2006 Golf TDI PD. (100hp) 1.9L i4.

Stock PSI is around 14. This vehicle is obviously not stock. Cost should be well within 1.5K to get those results including modified exhaust.

  • $999 CDN for the electronics required for tuning, and about $150 to $450 for the exhaust depending on metal grade. The gauges aren't necessary, but recommended.

  • Or you can properly chip it with larger nozzles for the proper tune

  • nice vid man wat model and how many litres is the engine thanks

  • if its a stock tdi engine its a 1.9L i4 not sure bout the psi on the turbos though.

  • i just bought a 2002 golf TDI manual from a guy in Hope, BC. I will certaily do this kind of upgrade in a near future. How much am i looking for parts and labor ?

  • nice tdi there
