You are travelling to work on your first day, therefore you you want to make a good impression and not be late. You hit a deer with your car. The deer's front legs are broken, and it is suffering in the road. There is a slim chance that the deer can be taken to the vet and operated on. Do you

a) put the deer out of his misery with the jack from the boot of your car

b) wait with the deer on the slim chance that it will be operated on, however it will suffer more if it is not operated on. Which??

@TheHoranator Between these answers, for me it is easy. I put the deer out of its misery. I thought you were going to say, a) help the deer or b) get to work and make a good impression. I guess that's not too difficult either, unless there is an even more pressing reason to get to work.... I would just call in and say I'm going to be late.

The left hand has a random proportion of red and blue marbles. That means there is equal likelihood of there being 8 blue and 2 red, or 8 red and 2 blue. that works out to a total of 50/50.

Why are odds Even in the marble question? If I don't know how many red or blue marbles are in the left hand then I might pick a color that is less likely to be drawn...
