  • I think they still used this same "pop" to this very day lol.

  • TNA Impact does the same, and waaaay worse

  • am i hearing the same one over and over? sorry im pretty high and cant tell

  • Bobby Lashley *fake pop*

    Bobby Lashley *fake pop*

    Bobby Lashley *fake pop*

    Bobby Lashley *fake pop*

    Bobby Lashley *fake pop*

    Bobby Lashley *fake pop*

  • haha, you mean this terrible sound that I've been hearing for years actually is noticed by others?

  • I use this to sleep, lawls!

  • its funny when they do crazy loud chants but the people in the backgroud are sitting and doing nothing at all. its why i only watch smackdown when its live.

  • The saddest thing about this is that they have been doing this since AT LEAST 2001 to SmackDown audiences. Pretty sad, if you think about it.

  • I have a feeling they use these for Cena to make it sound like less REAL wrestling fans are booing his boring ass

  • @undertakerfreak1127 they always do these for cena, somebody i know was at a smackdown recording and cena came out to talk some shit and they booed his ass, then on tv threre was a huge pop for that fucking asshole.

  • They used it a lot with Bobby Lashley

  • Also known as the Smackdown Hairdryer

  • The more I listen to it the more I laugh

  • Comment removed

  • Man its so annoying I wish they would get some new crowd noise

  • @koalajones88

Yeah but boners don't make hairdryer noises.

  • Oh wow lol.

  • OH GOD NOW I CAN'T UNHEAR IT

  • This reminds me of Daniel Bryan.

  • I coined the term seagull pop

  • @CarnieWI I've never heard that term. WHere is it used?

  • Sounds like a hairdryer

  • Why does WWE even dub in cheers/boos, anyway? It can't be that the SD crowd's are dead, is it?

  • @ToruKun1 I think it's that they want the cheers or boos at certain times, like when a wrestler's name is mentioned.

  • @matt4lyfe

So it's just Orwellian editing, i.e., "YOU CHEER WHO WE WANT YOU TO CHEER, DAMMIT!"

  • WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

  • dubbing isnt because of smackdown fans. they cheer loud enough. what WWE does is drown their cheers out and replace them with their own. it becomes really obvious once you see a smackdown live in person. i was there when Christian hit Orton with the title. the reaction in person was far different than the reaction you heard on TV

  • I've gotten so used to the canned pop to the point where I don't even realize it's edited in.

  • @Kato128rs So you're too busy too make any kind of video, but you have plenty of time to make statements without backing them up whatsoever. I see..... HYSTERICAL

  • @EnglishSmoker2 You do realize making a video takes at minimum five minutes? A one minute video with editing will take NO LESS than ten minutes. I invest maybe 20-30 seconds AT THE VERY MOST each time I leave a comment. I backed up everything I said, you're just too ignorant to accept it.

  • The Dubbed Pops are: yawn. John Cena is here.

The Real Pops are: WOW!!! AUSTIN IS HERE AND HE'S BEATING UP HHH ALL OVER THE ARENA!

  • waaAAAAAH

  • this is funny stuff, well spotted though :D

  • they've been using that track for over 10 years now, i was watching a backstage bit with the rock and kurt angle from 01 the other day and it had the same pop track

  • wow

  • @EnglishSmoker2 lol.....i said its not ALWAYS live you dipshit

  • @UnifiedaxxS no you didn't. You realise your comment is still clearly visible and doesn't say "always" or even imply you meant to say that. And I quote "@EnglishSmoker2 raw is NOT live.......its taped like smackdown is taped on Tuesdays

    UnifiedaxxS 2 weeks ago"

  • @EnglishSmoker2 ok i was wrong but its not always right

  • AAAUUUUUUUUHHHHHHHHH!!!

  • what has been heard cannot be unheard

  • eeeeAAAAeeeeaaaa

  • sounds like a little girl screaming

  • I've always noticed this and it so annoying! They had to pick the fakest sounding cheer to play over and over and over again.

  • If anyone notices, it is the same crowd noise as the one from WCW World Tour for N64.

  • *turns hair dryer on*

  • @Eddiebhoy1888 lmaoooo

  • I thought I was the only one who noticed this lol im glad im not ,it takes from the show ,I mean come the fuck on a cheer is a cheer and a pop is a pop.

  • That female scream at the beginning of each one is a dead giveaway. The most ridiculous fake pops were during Warrior's return in '96. Watch his promo with Goldust, where the fake pop actually fails at one point. They done it a lot with Jeff Hardy when they were trying to get him over as a main eventer.

  • I guess this is how Michelle McCool's many "fans" sound..

  • what r pops?

  • @moneyman24ful when fans cheer

  • They could at least use a different dub track!

  • I've noticed raw has been doing it for last few weeks as well

  • @ZEPPELIN101 Taped shows.

  • @ZEPPELIN101 Raw has been doing because they haven't been live for awhile. They have been pre recorded since about august or september. Idk why

  • @BJgrand

RAW was pre-recorded a few eeks ago and has been live since then.

  • @ZEPPELIN101

The CM PUNK chants sometimes sounds like the MITB chants from Chicago. I swear it's like the same loudness and everything.

  • If this was 1999, dubbed pops wouldn't exist. I REALLY miss the old WWF.

  • WaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

  • 0:42 makes no sense - why would Krystal standing backstage holding a microphone receive such a loud pop!?

  • @Pander8874

I guess they expect the crowd to pop for the Divas solely because they're hot. (there was a clip of people "popping" for Ashley in there too)

  • sounds like a starting vacuum cleaner

  • wow listin 2 that bass in Lashley`s theme

  • They can do that on Smackdown cuz its not live. They still suck for it

  • I thought I was the only one who noticed. It's pathetic.

  • @EnglishSmoker2 omg i knew they dubbed some pops but not all of them , that just shows that the crowds are little kids and their mothers unlike the teens/adults from the attitude era...i mean seriously stone colds biggest pop is like 100 of these pops combined

  • whats a dub pop

  • @dlketchum2 fake crowd noise like in sitcoms

  • Can the at least get a new one?

  • I hate those dubbed voices, and they annoy me

  • Why the hell would you dub pops? I mean I know damn well the Undertaker doesn't need it but them other suckas might but that is low for the WWE to dub pops. I've been hearing the same old cheers for a while.

  • To me for some odd reason it sounds like the Smackdown crowds and The Raw crowds have the same reaction every week. It's like the same sounding people or something they all have the same cheers. On RAW its that high pitched squeek and on Smackdown it sounds like they recorded cheers and then put them on. I don't know maybe it's just me.

  • Ha ha, I've been hearing this same "pop" on WWE for years, funny to see a compilation video of it.

  • You get major audience hellaciousness when its geared towards adults. If its geared towards kids which it has been since around the time Goldberg and Lesnar left you get a few big pops for Cena (anyone ever notice how high pitched and child/woman-like it is) and malaise for everyone else. I actually think the average fan cares more for interviews and entrances than actual wrestling!

  • i still hear that , IT PISSES ME OFF BIG TIME!

  • SD was great back then!

  • loz

  • You can see the lifeless crowd during a few of those fake pops. In 1998 - 2001, you'd see everyone giving a standing ovation. No one on the WWE deserves a standing ovation today, though.

  • huge pop for Krystal LOL

  • Fucking tired of hearing the dubbed pops...that's weak

  • Sounds like the same reactions Drew McIntyre gets.

  • smackdown crowds are louder in reality and more responsive

  • OMG SOMEONE ELSE NOTICED!!!!

  • Turn on a hair dryer. WaaaaHHHH

  • Fuck WWE

  • fuck you

  • aw fuck!

    can't unhear :((

  • i've always thought smackdown sounded so muted compared to RAW and PPV's.

  • Goddamn I hate that fucking noise.

  • Sounds like a reversed sound clip of a vacuum cleaner.

  • Crowdpop.mp3

  • Yeah-weah!!

  • wooooooahhhhhhh

  • The crowd right now is slightly lower because the kids are all playing with their wwe kids magazine colouring books instead of cheering!

  • Man i've been trying to tell my friends that the audience sound the fucking same everytime were ''supposed'' to cheer. They didn't believe me. Now they will tho :P

  • ooowahhh!

  • Don't forget that this is the EXACT same dubbed pop that is on WWE Raw 2 whenever somebody enters the ring. :)

  • No such thing, World Wrestling Entertainment is too big of a corporation to need them, lawls!

  • Nolo King?!

  • It used to be about the wrestling man, you changed, lawls!

  • Dubbed pops? Nonsense! That one fan just goes to every Smackdown silly!

  • yh they all sound the same, the wwe didn't need crowd effect in the late 90's because it used to be exciting

  • sounds like a high quality sound synthesis crowd effect being repeated over and over again.

  • i believe that without the crowd chanting and screeming and "woohhhhing" and "whating"(austins what)xD WWE wouldnt be so exciting....

  • ive always disliked the dub pops of sd

  • What they should edit out is the ridiculous 'WHAT' chants. Despite Austin being my favorite of all time, they get annoying as hell.

  • what?!?

  • The same crowd noises have been on the show since its debut. Blame the crowd for not been enthusiastic, the only crowd these days are the Canadians and British.

  • @UndertakerOnline

This weeks raw Crowd was better then normal tbh

  • @UndertakerOnline

How about NY? At Madison Square Garden? They are louder than the Canadians. And by the way smart ass, the last time WWE was in Canada, everyone cheered for Cena. Shows how much "true" wrestling fans are there, roflllll.

  • @niggasinmaface When RAW was in Calgary last year, everyone was chanting like crazies for Jericho. I may actually recall that the Americans also cheer for Cena...hm, that's weird...

  • @UndertakerOnline I couldn't agree more. I remember last year or something when RAW was in Canada, and Vickie Guerrero came out with her excusing herself, and you could CLEARLY hear everyone chant "SHUT THE FUCK UP, SHUT THE FUCK UP", something that I haven't heard from the American fans in a very, very long time

  • @WWEVideosTributesNor I think it was Breaking Point PPV and Raw the night after, they were in Canada and the crowd were great throughout

  • @UndertakerOnline yeah u can notice the dubbed pops on raw when cena apears on the titantron one time i was at a smackdown show in 2007 and cena came up on the monitor we were in new york and we all booed him it was a recording when the show aired i saw it and when he came up the crowd cheered i was like wtf

  • @UndertakerOnline I blame the product. Lame shit.

  • @UndertakerOnline yah so all those ROCK pops were fake lol

  • @UndertakerOnline I went to Raw here in London last week. John Cena came out, everybody booed. Hard. It was so loud. The next day, I watched the same show on TV (I recorded it), surprise surprise, the crowd was cheering wildly for him! Magical...

  • @UndertakerOnline California and New York are good, too

  • @UndertakerOnline Blame WWE for not being able to keep momentum.

  • lmfao, I love this. I've noticed this for so long, glad to see a video dedicated to its brilliance.

  • theres a video on youtube its called undertaker nand kane backstage..

it has a dubbed pop with the two of them

  • Those dubbed pops always get on my nerves.

  • theyve been using this since the attitude era pretty much.

  • They cant edit raw because its live

  • They Need do these Thing Coz the People Sitting in the Arenas Are Dead Zombies rather than the People in the Old Days who cried laughed with Rock And Austin !

BTW Very Good Work and Observation !

  • Is there Anything Left "REAL" ?

Why don't they Just Show us The recordings of the Games they Make "S VS R" 2009 .

Rather than Having Live Events !

    Miss WWF Fuck WWE !

  • Dubbed as always

  • I KNEW IT!!

  • i seriously thoght i was the only 1 that noticed this

  • it sucks that wwe does this, i hate it when they bs the fans, i'm sure they were doing it this week when they were in canada, coz theres no way cena was getting cheered in canada, well not to the extent he was anyway, and i'm sure that the new hart foundation would of got a bigger pop in calgary and edmunton

  • Lol actualy there was one point where they were in calgary and they boo-ed the hell out of cena. It was AWESOME.

  • yh they seem to dub his pops more now on the tv shows, its so obvious coz when he gets to the ppv's he gets booed like crazy

  • I hear a Yoshi on 1:00

  • LOOOL it's the same fucking sound and it's so easy to recognize thanks to that woman's voice

  • Imagine being the editor of SD! and having to listen to this audio bit thousands of times.

  • But i mean even on the repeat tapings of raw they don't even add any post production pops to his entrance, which i find really strange cuz they do it with every other babyface.

  • Is it me or does the crowd go absolutely dead when MVP comes to the ring now he's in his babyface era, and they don't even seem to use the dubbed pops over his entrance neither.

  • lol

  • they started using dubbed pops in late 2001.

  • Another reason why i dislike WWE, i fucking hate the dubbed crowd nosie.

  • yeah cuz WCW never did that. lmao

    GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG!

  • Oh it's true ...... It's damn true XD

  • XD Never notcied that.

  • Maybe if the crowd WASNT FULL OF 10 YR OLD KIDS SITTING ON THEIR HANDS then the reactions would be

    better.

But i dont like how they play the BOOs over the heels entrances and CHEARs for the faces...

If they had played fake heat during Stone Cold's original heel run WOULD HE HAVE EVER BECOME AS POPULAR AS HE DID?I hate seing talented heels who are over with the fans have to put up with the fake heat while performing infront of a dead audience that doesnt appreciate their work.

  • smackdown's canned heat is really annoying

  • i had too wach that 2x to unerstand wt wr guin of nd yeh it dus get annoying and tht was only like a minuite

  • LOL They've been using this for years!

It got annoying like around 2002-2003

  • You can 100% tell the Cena pop was fake because they always boo the hell out of him.

  • couldn't they at least use difrent tracks of crowd pops? it gets really anoiying.

  • waaAAAAAH.

  • sounds like a blowdryer or something

  • it's so obvious and fake it makes the show more pathetic. They've really gotta stop doing it.

  • so thats why smackdown has bigger pops than raw

  • well now its because every descent wrestler is on smackdown, while raw only has orton.

  • and he's heel so gets booed anyway : /

i suppose cena gets fairly big pops

  • cena's pops are canned. theres no way the little kids can pop louder than all the men booing his no talent ass.

  • good point

  • You know because you have insider info? C'mon you idiot, Cena is the most over guy in the company and men don't boo him because it would be pointless, wrestlers find it annoying when you dumbfucks can't enjoy the show and worry about workrate and shit, it isn't any of your business you're there to enjoy the show not assess and review the product on the internet later.

  • I first noticed this years ago, but kinda thought I was going crazy for hearing the same fan cheering at every WWE show. Glad to know I'm not nuts.

  • lol why would the fans cheer Kristal?

  • lol so fake

  • now that you mention it..... hahahaha

  • LOL

  • anybody with a set of ears could pick up on this

  • Haha this is pretty great

  • Yeah I also noticed this.

  • so u picked up on this to lol iv noticed it but thought i dno it couldnt be a coincidence tht every crowd cheers the same way lol

  • They didn't need to use this in the AttitudeEra!

  • Amen. B/c back in the attitude era, WWE was fucking awesome. Nowadays, wwe blows.

  • Whats even more lame now is that they're using these dubbed pops on RAW aswell!
