This means that if you have a goal constantly in your mind, you will be more likely to realize opportunities as they come that will bring you closer to your goal. It also means that you will be willing to use more effort and go through more discomfort because you are doing it for something you desire. These two benefits make goal setting and mental attitude extremely beneficial to success, however you define it.
