When I first saw the movie a few years ago I couldn't believe how a b&w movie could get my attention from the beggining to the end. Then I understood why this movie has been reviewed so many times and why so many people says it's a masterpiece. It's one of the best movies of all times.
Mifune was with me today... found a new personal best of a monstrous Richard III. Had Chaplin there too, one sat on either side. The things we do to find confidence. :)
Though I best not say that actually... don't want to anger the Gods.

I love this movie and this has to be one of my favorite scenes. OMG! It's sooooo funny. Mifune really played the clownish guy really well.
