If your base leaves are noy getting much light it is natural that the leaves die, it is only the plant eating the nutrients stored in the leaves they will fall off and all is well. however if you get that happening on top leaves you have a problem!

turn the fan down they just need some wind to make the stem stronger not so high or power full unless u have 10 or more. might have to check 4 mites cant see them by eye u have to get something mag-glass, to look at the underneths 4 the mites spider mites do that color, there is also this sheet of shinny paper u can get at your local hydro store :) to go around your room so the light will attract to the bottom of the plant it self to get the bottoms to grow good luck buddy, ShY

Try superthrive and hesi vit there just vitamins and just water for now no nuts yet till you see improvement keep them leave on for few days until the plant can discharge all it crap out the leafs then chop the damage leafs out still using superthrive and hesi vit the slowly introduce the nuts again a few days later.

I`ve had numerous successful crops using 3 part Gen Hydro nutes in a 12 bucket multiflow in hydroton. My latest developed a ramhorn canoe downward curl. Leaves are dark green some have a little bit of yellow spots on the edges (not overwatering) Lifting the inner pot to check roots, still white but not thriving. Sprayed leaves thoroughly w/ Greencure & have added B-1 & seaweed still no improvement What is my problem ? Crying in California

Florescent light does not penetrate the canopy very well at all. Lower leaves will drop. This happens all the time on lager plants like that. If you want to keep a large mother then look into a MH. The fan hitting it so hard didn't help either.

this is a case of wind burn plus look at your canopy you are getting no light to your bottoms either clear some leaves out to get light to the bottom of the plant or cut start keeping your under branches trimmed

@albanychronic5239153 NO. you are not dude. Google growing temps and humidity for pot. Follow those basics and you should be fine. PH is important too. Distance to light source and tops of plants is important. You must have a fresh air intake and a stale air outake very important. Dont over feed and overwater most new growers do both. Research research...practice practice. Try and find a strain that likes your particular growing conditions.

Do you have an carbon filter to get rid of the smell? Do you have an intake fan to get fresh air in the room from outside? Do you know what color temperature is? Do you have a temperature and humidity meter? Did you spend upwards of 500$ minimum on your grow? Can you supply 30 lumens per square foot in your grow room? Have you grown before?

Wind burn happens when too much air pressure hits the leaves like having the fan too close on to high of a level and it can actually cause your leaves to dry out and die. Your best bet is to remove the dead leaves and move the fan back a bit from the damaged area. Just sharing info. I am trying out hydroponics now and so far it's giving me a problem or two....check out my videos and let me know what you think it might be if you don't mind. Keep it green ;)

If your plants are healthy with water in them all the time this should not occur. I believe this only happens when the plants container dries of water and the plant the suffers the same and the leaves closest to the fan will dry fastest......still up for debate of course.

the most common problem is people over water and over nutes at a early stages of the plants life. this what it looks like to me.them leaves will fall off. just use water only. and that fan is far to aggresive for the plants.the plants are useing its energy to stand up to the fan.which WILL cause the buds to be stunted. so lower the fan power and just use water. hope this helps.trial and error

zuuluu nailed it!! this is a problem all exp. growers go through, this is a problem in the media. plants aren't taking up nutes right, so they pull nutes out of older leaves first.Slowly working up the plant. Make sure ph is 6-6.8, leach slowly, check ppms. when ppm are too high, more problems will arise.until you know the plant(what it likes)keep ec lower. easier to ad then take away! low temps can cause slow P up-take,and slow bene's/microbes etc. get media right, plants w/be fine. o and btw fans cant dry out the leaves. During budding u dont want to let the fan blow on the buds to much because they can slightly dry out and put stress on the tricomes. if u c the buds swaying back and forth more then a quarter inch or so the fan needs to be dialed down. Besides the problem nice plants bud! The leaves r burnt. When u hear about burning ur leaves this is wat there talking about. U probably gave it to much nutrients. If it isnt that check the ph. It is one of these problems for sure. Ive had it happened and helped numerous people for this problem and there is no disease that does this so it can be easily corrected. The rust colored spots wont go away where already effected but it will stop the spread and grow like nothing every happened.

actually you already described the problem right off the top fan near cold air intake creates colder soil enviroment limits phosphorus in veg and once again you get those light green leaves with blackend eges that look like a fungus cold temperatures will almost always result in poor phosphorus uptake during veg you get the brown fungus like look and in flower you get some purple entering your plant especially if its indica.

cutt the infected leaves off and do a good flush. wait about a week then do a quarter strength fertilizer dose under less light if your using more than a 1000 watts for abut 2 weeks. that should take care of it. rest off it looks good though. :)

Wind burn in 24 hours? He moved them the day before. Right. He didn't check on his plants "for a week." Little common fucking sense.  Whatever it is, it ain't "wind burn." Maybe he over watered a little. Old growth going first. Probably not nutritional, otherwise healthy plant apparently with no history of sickness. Moving the fan has nothing to do with this.

you need calcium and magnesium i think... i use advanced nutrients and when i purchased them the guy at the counter advised me in using calmagic to avoid such burns..and the older leaves i heard tend to show first signs that something is wrong
