in my opinion, Chimaira is pretty underrated.

I don't know whats the reason for that... but these guys are so f-ing talented, its crazy.

everything about them - drums, riffs, vocals and samples/electronics, all those together make their stuff absolutely amazing.

i guess that people who don't have a good ear for music, find it hard to hear the samples that Chris makes... kinda like in Slipknot when people dont understand why the band needs both "133" and Sid in the band

haha when they go mainstream like LOG and trivium (trivium sucks btw) you woudnt wanna be fans anymore. a soo n as metal goes popular you lose th eidentity of being a fan. chimaira is really big in the scene anyways and they are truly talented .

i really dont get the whole 'mainstream' thing...

as far as i care - im gonna listen to a band as long as theyre making heavy, awesome music. as in for Chimaira, the new album (in my opinion) is F-ing amazing, and i dont think they changed anything in their sound in order to be played more on tv/radio/whatever... they stick to their style, and thats what counts.

i dont think that LoG changed too much either in 'Wrath'.

and Trivium... they were never as heavy as Chimaira/LoG
