I bought the same one as yours (PSP 1003) on Ebay for $93 with 8 games and original box! I also ordered a 16GB memory stick for $18 for emulation and ''legally'' downloaded games.

Since you have the PSP 1000, there are many options to hacking your PSP. For one, you can use a Pandoras Battery, and a Magic Memory Stick. This is one of the easiest ways but not the cheapest. I wouldn't bother with this, but beginners start here usually. Newer ways is to update your PSP to firmware 6.20. If you have a firmware higher than this will probably not work, but on 6.20 you can download TN-HEN and then along with TN-HEN use 6.20 m33. This will allow you to run POP and ISO games.

I own a PSP 1000. My dad brought it home from America, so it really was one of the first ;D

Still working great. And the pandora hack made it even better :P

Allthough it works, I hardly use it... iPad Addict xD

Before I go on from 3:15, I'm guessing you're going to use TPB? lol, I wonder if it's fun running DOS and Windows 95 on it.

I also recommend Gran Turismo PSP, I don't own a PSP or that game (yet), but from what I can tell, it'll have a lot of replay value.

@jm1jonas Are you really serious?... Man this Panasonic will beat the crap out of a MBP webcam! Of course I'm not hating on the iSight / FaceTime camera.. It's a really great camera. But a webcam is a webcam, not a camcorder.

I know, i know, i just said that because you said that you didn't had free space in your camcorder. I use my MBPs webcam when i use 2 cameras in an unboxing or when i shoot something in movement, my 550D doesn't Auto-focus.

I had no idea that it only had 14fps, it still is better then most built in web cams! But of course, it can't be compared by any means to the quality of my canon 550D (if you see my latest videos you can easilly see which is which).

Miss my PSP1000!

Also you may want to consider ripping any of your UMD games, with a feature in the M33 firmware you can toggle the PSP to channel the UMD through the USB port, then simply link up the PSP to the a mac/pc and copy and paste the iso, then copy it to the memory stick.

Games will run MUCH faster and it will greatly improve battery life!

The PSP can also do some other neat things, you can use the 1000 as a universal remote!

Dude, I used to be REALLY into PSP modding, but i stopped around the 5.50 update as thats when the famous dev "dark alex" stopped support.

To take full advantage of a psp 1000 get a pandora battery and upgrade to 5.00 m33-6, any other exploits are made with the psp 3000 in mind.

The advantage of the pandora battery is that it is impossible to brick your device! Search up the pandora battery / magic memory stick method!
