They did let Chuck join them again in 81, he ended doing drugs again and Cory said no to him rejoining in 84. Cory always had a natural high, didn't need drugs. I don't blame him.
@journeyremember2 I was just joking when I said Two Dog Night, They are Three Dog Night and have the right to be. If you didn't like the show you should have left quietly instead of being rude and having to be escorted out. They aren't in thier 20's anymore, but still love what they're doing. The people that go to see them still like them for the music they made. I have a great life and it's none of your business how old I am.

@DrHogfan Oh yeah..it was REAL UGLY. There was specail issue in Goldmine four or five years ago on 3DN and the remaining members of the band we interviewed sepeate from Chuck. Two quiet different perspectives on what went on just like any bad divorce.

Sure Tom Fogerty and TDN's original member Joe Schermie are both dead now but that should not hold back both John Fogerty and Chuck Negron,and Floyd Sneed from rejoining CCR and Three Dog Night for a brief short reunion concert. Even Chicago and Peter Cetera along with Drummer Danny Seraphine on both sides need to mend their long time bitter differences.
With all due respect to the other members of the band, and I mean that sincerely --- there comes a time where you should use a different name. Would you consider it Led Zeppelin without Jimmy Page? Is it the Stones without Jagger or Richards? Crosby, Stills and the "New Guy"? don't think so.... Change the name of the group, and go forward, but don't sell it as if it was the bona fide. In my humble opinion at least.
@57mab This is why Mary Wilson of the Supremes has worked so hard with the Vocal Group Hall Of Fame to create laws that require a band/group that has had changes over the years to have at least one original member in it or they can not use the name. For years there were countless faux Drifters and Coasters and other groups from the 1950's & 60's touring with no original members. As I understand it, Danny, Cory, Jimmy & Michael are still touring & recording together. That's more than "One" ;-)
