You asked me if I support Obama. Of course I do. He is President of the United States and I am a US citizen. Do I pray that he fails? Uh-no. I don't want to see a man who has worked three generations in an auto factory lose his job with a wife and three kids at home. I don't want to see. I don't want to see a child stricken with an illness, be denied treatment because her parents don't have health care. No matter if he fails or succeed, God is still on his throne. Trust in Him.

This is a silly comment. If a father loses his Job he is still in a free America where he can find another Job, you have the false notion that if a company goes under there won't be any investor to buy up that company at a cheaper price and turn it around and make it profitable. That Capitalism makes possible. Also no hospital will deny treatment to a child because parents can't afford it. Maybe insurance company's will deny the claim but the service will be performed.

My devotional for today was titled, "The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." You have been on my mind for the past couple of days. We can go back and forth and both of us will believe we know, but I just want to offer this prayer. I believe the Lord has turned His face to you, I pray that you turn your face to Him and find the peace that we all seek. The promise that God has continually given us is that He is always with us. Us- all of us. No one is exempt from His Love.

I don't know what is in your heart, truly what is in your heart. Only you and God know that. What I do know is that I know that God is a God of Love, a God of Mercy and Grace. Do I think you know the bible? Yes- you can quote the book, chap and verse. Your "outward" appearance looks to be one of faith, but it is what is in your heart that determines your words and your actions. And that is where faith comes in and knowing that God is God and we are not!!

This is why my heart SINGS!! I read my daily devotional for yesterday late last night and it was as if God was speaking to me again. It said, "The Lord doesn't see as man sees; for man looks at outward appearance, but the Lord looks at a the heart". Exactly!! We don't know a man's or woman's heart-only God knows. God is God, we are not!! When are you going to humble yourself before the Lord?

I hear you! Where do you listen to it on the computer? Is there a website? I get daily devotionals in the mail and Purpose Driven Life Daily devotional on my email every morning. I call them my emails from God! There is so much one can hold onto in this world but the only anchor is Jesus. I like to listen to other hope that they have in Christ as well. . A testimony to give and we all have something to give to another to help them on their journey with the Lord.

What is the purpose of reading the instructions, lets say...to fix a faucet when you don't use what you have read to fix the problem. So you can read -but if you don't put into action what you have learned your just a "gonging bell". You're still left with a broken faucet. You read and then point your finger at the speck in your brother and sister eyes but miss the log in your own. I have quoted the bible too but I have humbled myself to pray for you. Think about God's Word. Absorb it! Use it!

He will take you as you are. Jesus walked the earth not with people who "knew God's Word", but those that needed Him the most. These are the people He called friends. This I know. This is what He has done for me. My walk with Him, I have stumbled along the way but His Mercy and His Grace gives me strength. God's ways are not our ways. We must follow Him, not get in front of Him. It is very hard to follow someone that way, don't you think?! Peace.

Maybe some of you have come on here to view and listen to what President Obama has said and taken a look at the dialogue between my "friend" and I. I just want you to know that I hold no malice for this person. Even after all of this, I can say this with the assurance that there is a God who's mercy is greater than mine. You will find this mercy in the pages of the bible and believe me your heart will sing. He is not a hateful God and He is not keeping score

One of my favorite verses from Jesus: John 15:18-19- "If the world hates you remember it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, then the world would love you as its own". John 16:1-3- " have told you this, so that you will not give up faith. You will be expelled from teh synagogues, and the time will come when anyone who kills you will think that by doing this he is serving God. People will do these things to you because they have not known either the Father or me"

Obama associates Christ with Muhammed, The Church of Trinity is a Black Liberation theology. This is a off shoot of Christianity plus racism. He equates Islam with Christianity, this is offensive on a scale you cant even imagine. He was a devout Muslim until he married Michele, to him the faith is a tool to elevate him politically. You are scaring me in knowing there are people like you out there dismissing those that might be on the fence of conversion. You must be humble is you are going to be a follower of Christ. Then if you follow Jesus you know He said, "Do not judge lest ye be judged!" As far as the faith you profess. If your faith consist of judging others and putting yourself as the judge- I don't want to understand it. My Judge, my Savior died on the cross for all sinners. He does not have a criteria. Who are you to say who can invoke the name of God and who can't. Jesus said, "they will know you are mine by the love you have for one another". Not by the number of sins you can find in someone.
