Such a great player. I'm glad he plays for England because if he didn't he'd never get to play Test cricket and rarely play the best teams in the other forms of the game. It's great for Eoin, Ireland who can be proud of him, England and the world of cricket.
To anybody who doesn't understand why Morgan plays for England rather than Ireland. It's quite simple. Ireland does not play test cricket, which is the highest level. Any sportsman wants to play against the best if only purely as a yardstick with which to measure himself. Anybody who is as good as Morgan is and doesn't want to play against the best shouldn't play at all.
