i have both. and i will say you must be a mentally ill individual if you still dj with original records. either that or you dj in your basement for fun.

i use vinyl but having serato etc. only means you dont have to carry cases of records from gig to gig. You still have to know how to work the music.Those things dont make you an instant dj.
