When i first started using this i was filming in WVGA and uploads were only taking up towards an hour, all of a sudden even when i press wvga to record in uploads are taking about 8 hours and are coming up as HD, how can i fix this i cant have upoads taking that long
@spaceysno1girl Hi spaceyno1girl, If you have made sure you are recording in WVGA vs 720P, the next thing to check is what you are saving the file as. When you edit your video with any video editing software make sure you save the file with the same resolution as your source which should be 848 by 480 I believe is WVGA. If you haven't fixed the problem yet, tell me what video editing software you are using. good luck!
I just upload the video and then edit and process it, it never asks what to save it as, and its media impression - maybe thats whats going wrong but if i can fix it that way rather than take it in for repair that would be great, thanks
After you are done editing your video in MediaImpression, click Export/Share. Rather than directly upload to YouTube, click PC which is the first option then click next. From here, you can change the resolution to WVGA. Also after you have chosen a location to save the file on, I usually save to desktop first then I will upload to the YouTube site manually versus having MediaImpression upload it. I hope this helps!
The cheap ebay version doesn't have as good a range as the genuine ones. There tends to be a little less separation and more bass (almost muffled). I have a comparison test on my channel.
You can also get the real ones as cheap $50 online.
