NEVER in history has anyone been eaten by a shark. People get wounded and even in very rare occasions killed by sharks. But never eaten!

This is sad... National Geographic should know better...

she doesnt know shit. your more likely to die from a soda machine than from a shark. they're very shy and timid animals. they dont 'eat' humans, we taste like shit, they just come and explore us when we're in the ocean as they're not use to us.. they dont have hands like us so they have to use their mouths! they only have a bite to see and then bail! only 5 people a year die from shark attacks and that form loss of blood from these bites. they dont kill and eat humans, watch SHARKWATER

All my shark books says that the black tip reef shark is the shark that kills most people each year, because they swim in very big groups, then bull shark nr. 2 because it can swim in very shallow water, and up rivers. Tiger shark nr. 3 because it eats almost everything, and then the great white.

they dont just attack, they're curious. we dive with them here in mexico and sometimes we have four or five surrounding us at a time. they are AMAZING animals!!

No, she is correct, you are more likely to get in a car accident or get struck by lightning, then then attacked by a shark. How do I know? I live in Australia mate! The water is clear blue around where I live and when I go surfing, you can see the sharks clear as day.

yeah but you live where there is clear water. here in the US, a lot of ocean water isn't clear so you can't see the sharks. When the water is clear, there is less likely for a shark attack because sharks can see us better too and they usually don't consider us food.

One time I was swimming in the ocean and a shark bit my arm off so then I killed the shark with one arm, stole my arm back and swam back to shore with one arm and drove a car with a standard transmission with one arm to the hospital where I presented my detached arm to the doctors who successfully reattached it.

My family owns the mino shark aqua area.

I get to swim with them alot, we train them to be as friendly as possible. the only way for them to become friendly is to take them as babys. thats what we do. Im not going to lie I ate a bull shark before and its not that bad lol ^^
