Agree, some tasty guitar on this ~ his use of double stops really gives it a trademark sound. There were some wonderful guitar players from that era...
One of my favourites aorund 79/80 when I attended many rock n roll nights as an 18 an year old. Warren Smith was also good as a ballad singer. Id rather be safe than be sorry and goodbye Mr love are excellent even though they were b sides.
The wonderful lead guitarist on this song was Al Hopson, who unfortunately passed away some time ago - thanks for posting this wonderfully wild and relatively unknown rockabilly classic
