I remember this as clear as day watching from my grandparents place at Miami on the Gold Coast and being able to watch programmes an hour earlier...especially National Nine News on a Sunday on relay from TCN with Jim Waley.
You would've been able to watch those channels an hour ahead until this happened: j(dot)mp/4dEyN8
ACMA investigation instigated by NBN against fellow commercial broadcaster Prime & 10 (formerly NRTV).
ACMA had to issue a further release to let Tweed residents know who used to enjoy receiving NSW programs from the Mt Tamborine site as it covers most of the coastal section of the Tweed Shire very well (with 2 sets of commercial stations as we know) j(dot)mp/qTYpV
Yay, finally some more NRTV material! Looks like it would be from 1986 or 1987 - by the end of the decade the 11/8 element of the logo would have been dropped.
Nice way to phase in the new name with the old logo tacked on the end!

Funny you should mention this, I used the same signal, VHF 8, the other day for a little project that will soon be seen on Youtube.

Except that I was watching on the UHF frequency from MT Tamborine.
