  • insted of a condom use a frezer bag

  • I still have a BCB Mess Tin sitting around that was one of my original first homebrew kits. I've since upgraded that kit to a larger container and better components. Been meaning to make a slightly larger pocket kit out of the BCB this past weekend. Probably mash together my Altoids Tin first Aid Kit (AMK Pocket Medic contents) and a John McCann Survival Resources neck survival kit (Same as his tin, but in a pouch). Good video!

  • Lol awesome

  • You might want to change your mono-filament to a braid. Mono has to much memory and when and if you need that after being wrapped like that it is probably going to be a mess. Braid is the better option for wrapping it up small, like you have done. Nice kit. Don't suppose you can throw shelter in that tin though huh? No shelter is the only problem I have with tins. That and you need something to get you up off the ground. But you have some cool stuff. I really like the arrow head. I may get one.

  • whats with the dune coon music?

  • Good kit you have there, i have a very similar tin in my kit check out my video if you want,

  • Great kit Whiskey! I recently upgraded my Altoids kit to a bigger tin.

  • awesome kit do you think you might be able to make me one if so what would the price be and shipping

  • thats really nice, alot of stuff most people take for granted, like bug wipes and stuff. things you so easily forget about. but when your in the bush with bugs all over your face you wish u had remembered lol

  • Man, thats a sweet kit you got there. Take care.

  • Very nice kit! Would suggest goin to your local Dollar General store and picking up a picture hanging kit. Inside you'l find like 8 feet of thin wire and a few screw eyes. Use the wire as snare wire and the eyelets u can make a type of "fly" rod by screwing in 3 or 4 (depending on size of stick) and attatching the line to bottom one, running it thru the others and useing a fly action to get out futherer then just a canepole type rod. The items will fit easily into your kit.

  • Sir I am IMPRESSED! Thank you for sharing your kit with us and putting the effort into your video. Much appreciated!!!

  • Nice kit buddy. After watching this, I think I'm gonna have to post a video of mine.

  • Very nice kit. Reminds me very much of my own incarnations using the BCB prior to moving to a Trianga Mess Tin with Handle. I still have the BCB and should do something with it as a pocket kit for a project.

  • Very nice Kit! The little bit of extra size over the Altoids tin really makes a difference in what you can carry. : )

  • Thanks for the vid. I am not sold on the condom. How do you fill it without a nozzle of some sort? Love the arrow head.

  • That's a cool kit, yours is one of the first that I've seen that has a lot in it. Mine is set up pretty close to how you have yours set up. Good job. Take Care :-))

  • I really like how you focused to the max on supreme quality components.

  • @pelahale I really was going for that - and it's not cheap I promise you.

  • Nice vid, well done. Two things, If it were my kit I'd find a source of small trick birthday candles (like Spencers gifts). Why? For if your down to you last Match, light, ect. in windy conditions one can light the candle, and it will stay lit to get a good fire going, second replace the lube condom, the spermicide is not a good thing. The condom is also fragile, us a Rynolds wrap Turkey roasting bag, it folds small and is very tolerent of abuse, that would break the condom.

  • Might want to switch your lubricated condom for a non-lubricated condom... if your purpose is at all for water purification or storage. Otherwise, a really nice kit!!!

  • @godisnum1 You're absolutely right! Just waiting for an opportunity to where I don't have to buy a dozen of them.

  • Very nice kit! I thought the arrowhead was really clever. It would be great to include a list of all items included in your PSK in the Description so people can go shopping based on your items. Thanks for the video.

  • @TheUrbanPrepper Done!

  • great Job bud! looks like it would work well for you!

  • P.S. Nice intro!

  • nice kit, good selection of gear!

  • Dude, some really great ideas and Friggin BRILLIANT with the arrow head! How much did that cost, and how long did it take to file down the one edge?

  • @kentroklus Thanks! The AH-1 is about $20 bucks shipped - a little pricey for what it is, but meh - it's cool. Took at least 4 hours to sharpen that one edge using an oil stone and a DC-4 ceramic stone with the diamond back...

  • @drcstudios Do you like the DC-4? I've been looking at it for a while.

  • Sweet items in your PSK. Well done my friend!
