I drive a s2000 and my room mate drives an 03 cobra. We both appreciate echothers cars they are both great. His car is faster but I keep up pretty close and that says a lot for having half the motor and being NA. The car has 240 hp and a 9000 rpm red line in a four cylinder u got to admit thats pretty impressive. Mad respect to the terminator though for sure. Its a beast. Apples and oranges ya know.

They are different classes and although the mustangs and camaros of today are incredibly powerful they are still called pony cars. Go on any mustang forum and see.

I really don't think it matters except to the most overly picky types. A V6 mustang is just a pony, a GT500 or Cobra, well that's muscle.

No problem with either. Both can be ricers. Both have downsides. Imports not always the most torque but light and some have torque and hp. Domestics are heavy and though they turn out huge numbers they had better with an engine the size of the car.

too bad the stock block on a cobra won't be able to handle even close to that much boost without completely rebuilding the entire block and lowering the compression ratio first. The Honda S2000 is able to produce 120 hp PER LITER. How much horsepower per liter does your cobra get? It's clear which one of these cars is an engineering marvel running at a high compression ratio of 11:1 AND able to handle a high amount of boost on top of it and which one is your typical american V8.

i have riden in honda's and i own a mustang, and let me tell you what, a honda cant beat a mustang its not possible. in order to take a honda up to 300 hp you need turbos chips nitrous just to get it to 300 hp which i mustang comes stock with. also you forget this one kenne bell mammoth on a mustang bumps you right to 600 horsepower! one mod 300 hp increase, you cant do that with a honda. also to be fair jsut take a stock mustang and stock honda and race, and that will show the true winner!!

I drive a s2000 and my room mate drives an 03 cobra. We both appreciate echothers cars they are both great. His car is faster but I keep up pretty close and that says a lot for having half the motor and being NA. The car has 240 hp and a 9000 rpm red line in a four cylinder u got to admit thats pretty impressive. Mad respect to the terminator though for sure. Its a beast. Apples and oranges ya know.

No. Look at the size and weight differences. Muscle cars are hemis, cudas, novas, chevelles etc, not a mustang or camaro. Its common knowledge. They are different classes and although the mustangs and camaros of today are incredibly powerful they are still called pony cars. Go on any mustang forum and see.

In many cases pony cars have the same engines as their "muscle car" counterparts. On most forums I've been on pony car and muscle car are used almost interchangeably. I really don't think it matters except to the most overly picky types. A V6 mustang is just a pony, a GT500 or Cobra, well that's muscle.

too bad the stock block on a cobra won't be able to handle even close to that much boost without completely rebuilding the entire block and lowering the compression ratio first. The Honda S2000 is able to produce 120 hp PER LITER. How much horsepower per liter does your cobra get? It's clear which one of these cars is an engineering marvel running at a high compression ratio of 11:1 AND able to handle a high amount of boost on top of it and which one is your typical american V8.

i have riden in honda's and i own a mustang, and let me tell you what, a honda cant beat a mustang its not possible. in order to take a honda up to 300 hp you need turbos chips nitrous just to get it to 300 hp which i mustang comes stock with. also you forget this one kenne bell mammoth on a mustang bumps you right to 600 horsepower! one mod 300 hp increase, you cant do that with a honda. also to be fair jsut take a stock mustang and stock honda and race, and that will show the true winner!!
