  • dafuq! dos caras and bludemon nazis??

  • There will be a 3rd movie?? maybe in vietnam or haiti?

  • @folladordeprostis The director is kind'a busy recieving Golden Globes and Golden Palmes and Golden whatnot for The Artist. Same goes for the main actor.

  • @folladordeprostis In other words, no third movie in sight.

  • PEOPLE TO GETS HAIRCUTS!

  • I love this movie so much. I really hope they do a third one. I almost want another one of these more than another real James Bond film.

  • JAJAJJA PORKE SALEN BLUE DEMON Y DOS CARAS JAJAJAJA ESO FUE LO MEJOR DEL TRAILER VIVA MEXICO JAJJAAA

  • So the fun of this movie also comes from all those french taboos falling into pieces.

To be honest, i like american cinema much more but i sometimes wish it had more self-deprecating to offer, especially when it comes to national pride bullshit =)

  • @victorparent America's national pride isn't something to joke about. Especially when the most unintelligent country in the world has the most nukes.

  • @Iwatchtrek Well that's a caustic comment. "The most unintelligent country in the world." Wow. That has the bitter smugness of a mid-twenty something hipster rocking his laptop at a Portland Starbucks.

  • @cqtaylor Unintelligent as in, most untouched and privileged nation with the lowest test scores and highest rates of religion.

  • @Iwatchtrek Oh okay, thanks for clearing that up. Is this the part where I'm suppose to mention North Korea (untouched), Denmark (privileged), Sudan (lowest test scores - do they even test?), and Saudi Arabia (highest rate of religion, being Islam I suppose). Not that any of these countries are better or worse, and not to steal your thunder. I realize how popular it is for kids to rip on the U.S. after watching a couple of great foreign language films or independent ones. Stay Original ;-)

  • @cqtaylor Did you just say North Korea is untouched? Did you just compare Sudan to a first world country? And out of all the FIRST WORLD countries, America has the highest rate of religion.

  • @Iwatchtrek Is your definition of "untouched" expressed in terms of: few reduced Internet, no freedom of press, very little cultural or ethnic diversity, then yeah North Korea's citizens are more "untouched" than Americans. If you wanted to study education levels with the Sudan (test scores), then yeah - Sudan wins, (you did not make a distinction of 1st or 3rd world), And Gallup.com (the folks who do the polls) states that Bangladesh was the most religious country in the world rate of 99%+.

  • @Iwatchtrek So yes, even though I supported my point of view with facts, I'll declare you the winner of our little "Internet Hissy Fit" debate. It's old. I'm bored with it. So yes: Americans are untouched, "ooooh" we're all Southern Baptist Christians, We still think Bush is President, we use cans and strings to communicate. You're as bad as jingoist isolationists in your assumptions and stereotypes. You initially annoyed me for speaking in absolutes. Avoid that trap dude. Learn from it.

  • @Iwatchtrek Really? Which tests are you talking about?

  • I had no idea this movie was traslated and released worldwide.

    Very good thing!

I'm french and very picky when it comes to movies, and especially comedies, and in my opinions the OSS117 are by far the funniest ones.

Although, i have to say, you not only need some french notions tu fully appreciate it, but french culture is also quite important.

  • The first OSS117 takes place in the 50's and is a perfect illustration of the arrogant behaviour of France towards the people of their african colonies, and how they had no idea what their cultures were about.

The second one is about hypocrisy of France, refusing to admit that countless important people had been collaboration with the nazis during WWII.

  • does someone know the music bewteen 0:25 and 0:35 ?

  • To plenty understand the humour in the OSS movies, you have to learn french... It cannot be subtitled with words.

  • French have this thing with comedies. They made Le Gendarme series, Asterix & Obelix, Les Visitores (not the best though), Taxi series, now this... They are just great when it comes to comedies!

  • @cw3le

To be honest, the OSS117 movies are the only really good movies in your list.

Good luck translating all the stupid puns, though :p

  • @cw3le Les Visiteurs ;)

  • 1:00 splatterhouse

  • The first one I saw by accident and found very exeptional for french film.

I bought it for brother who felt the same. The subtitles add the same as for kung fu hustle. who cares where a good movie comes from. none of you made it anyway.

  • He looks exactly like Sean Connery.

  • the VTTxTBeowulf is right the subtitles does not ruins the movie it makes him better

  • I saw this trailer while watching The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played With Fire. I can't wait to see this movie.

  • @MrBlackFabio hahhaha yeah is in the dvd, also the mesrine trailer

  • France has their own Sean Connery. Who would thought?

  • Quelqu'un aurait le titre de la musique style samba please?Merci

  • @Patrocle67 La chanson s'appelle Rio ne réponds plus, et elle est de Ludovic Bource, le compositeur du film.

  • the original was good

  • dude we need more foregin movies like this or even better more foregin movies to help us understand other countries not only that its good to see how other countries do movies we could learn from them like they learn from us fairs fair right

  • what is OSS?..... great movie.

  • @movies5star OSS means, in French, Organisation des Services Secrets.

Even though it is quite transparent like this and you might have translated it already on your own, they used to be the French Secret Services. I'm French but even though, I might be wrong in telling they changed their name since then by something like DGSE (Direction Générale de la Sûreté Extérieure).

Great movie btw, the guy is amazing in "clichéing" the French diplomatic agent :)

  • @MarvellousTom In the original OSS117 novels (which are "serious" spy novels, not parodies) from the 50s and 60s and through the 80s, Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath is an American CIA agent whose ancestors are of French origin. Only in these two OSS117 films is he a French agent. There have been (in the 60s) a few movie adaptions of the novels where OSS117 was a CIA spy just like in the books.

  • @Onaryc59 Well! I did not know this one! Thanks for the update! A tribute to some novels in addition of being a funny movie!

  • Oss 117 1 was epic, and this one is fuckign epic too :D

  • the subs suck ! les sous-titres sont à chier !!!

  • @pabienpeur Vaut mieux ça que rien. Mais la traduction aux travers des sous titres fais perdre beaucoup d'humour de partout

  • the french james bond all about love making. haha. i never heard of this before but now i really want to watch it.

  • Jean Dujardin is simply a scream in this second of his roles as France's supreme 007 agent. Only a Frenchman could ever "bring down the movie house" in every scene pf this newest OSS 117 film with the simlutaneous multi layers of Jerry Lewis comedy and Sean Connery 007 style that the OSS 117 series requires. Jean Dujardin takes the OSS 117 role to the Oscar level of movie performance perfection. Roadwarrior3 give JD 10 stars on a scale of 1 to 5

  • SO glad this is coming out soon! Loved the first one - so funny in such an odd way. can't wait to see this!

  • real original france, NOT!

  • y los enmascarados llegaron XS a ver si los reconocen

  • Looks great.

  • @nauseatingdevil12 This isn't even a TV show ass wrangler.

  • Ridículo ao extremo - bobo e irreal !

Extremely ridiculous - stupid and unrealistic!

Extrêmement ridicule - stupide et irréaliste!

  • e uma comedia - estilo Austin Powers inculto!

Its a comedy - Austin Powers style you dumbass!

C'est une comedie - inculte va!

Sa se voit que tu connais pas le style de Jean du Jardin (the main actor)

  • @maxsd12

You're wrong, but not in a bad way. I saw the first one last night and it's much better than Austin Powers.

  • Where in South Florida will I be able to see this film? I heard it comes out May 14th.

  • oh wonderful, thats what we need, another movie about an incompetent spy. how funny and original.

  • @cheesewheel08

Believe me this is not at all what you think it is! It's completely hilarious, clever, and oddly original. It's nothing like johnny english nor the pink panther

  • this looks like fun! good thing I know a bit of french so I won't have to rely completely on the subtitles..

  • masked nazi-wrestlers with guns! yeah ಠ.ಠ

  • If this film is any good I suppose we have the awful Hollywood re-make to look forward to.

  • Interesting...might be good?

  • c'est cool le film

  • @Spazzboy911 I have never seen black subtitles in my life... do you mean white?

  • 0:17 Where is that?

  • OMG! I love it.

  • LMAO...this looksgood :)

  • Good work . . . . it actually looks like it was made in the 1960s.

  • "In the real world people get haircuts."

    LMAO!

  • Hahahaha this looks freaking epicly awesome!

  • "we'll talk again when something heavy needs to be carried" hahahhaha!! xD

  • Francis Bond ay?

  • @TTxTBeowulf

Why a movie would be better just because the language? Makes no sense.

  • @TTxTBeowulf the subtitles does not ruins the movie, actually almost everyone in the world needs to watch american's movies with subtitles, and i think that they're cool with it, lol

  • @17septemberboy thats not true

  • @1nfomercial why?

  • @17septemberboy well you said that almost everyone in the world needs to watch american movies with subtitles. and thats just noch true. also english is spoken as a first or second language in the world. there are just a few countries that have subtitles

  • @1nfomercial oh yeah, now i got it, lol

    i totally agree with u :)

there's like 20 or more countries

  • @17septemberboy Mabye I'm wrong 'cause I'm used to it, because I'm German, but I [nearly] never have to watch an American movie with subtitles, because they are all dubbed. (Or are we the expection to the rule?! oO) It's the same with French and Japanese/Chinese movies...

  • @iPodNami Well, there's a couple of international movies around here, some of them are dubbed, but those are the few ones, american people is not used to watch international movies

  • @17septemberboy i can watch the most movies in english and german without subs....

  • @TTxTBeowulf

well then learn a different language or learn to read...or don't watch the fucking movie, but just don't complain because it makes you sound like a lazy American...I don'teven care if you're Canadian, that's what you sound like.

  • @TTxTBeowulf wow people in the rest of the world have to see the crappy american movies with subs thanks to that we dont see de shitty quality of the american movies xD!

  • @strasto Hahah. Shitty quality. That's why you folks spend millions and millions watching our movies while yours are largely ignored.

  • @SpFiota "...largely ignored" or not!!!

i'm not french by the way! ;)

  • @SpFiota

Hahah. That's why you american folks are sooooo alienated!

  • @strasto= There's shitty movies made all over the world. Hollywood justs makes a large percentageof them. Like Notting Hill and the Scream movies.

  • Italian spiderman...check that out!

  • hell what is that ?

an assortment of: James Bond; Inglorius Bastards and french humour = OSS 117 : Lost in Rio ^^

  • @lalsaksjdhfggggs the first one is funny as hell! :'D

  • yea more nazis!

  • i want to se this!

  • isnt this a movie from last year?

  • Comment removed

  • lol

  • lmao

  • its a parody of james bond ... its more like a french austin power

  • @mimzi1 no,its more humnour than stupide :P 1st one was great

  • @mimzi1 The film, probably yes, but the character of OSS 117 is actually 3 years older than James Bond... Ian Fleming probably took quite some inspiration from 117 to creat his 007 =)

  • French James Bond?

  • @xmasdude25

    CORRECT but less serious :D

  • This is hilarious!
