I saw the Beach Boys perform live many times in their prime. That is part of the reason why I feel confident in saying what an incredible performance The Fendertones give. You have to give us more clips.
As a follow up, don't misunderstand my earlier comments, the ENTIRE band practiced alot and made this concert a success. I just want the Band to know they should keep doing what they are doing. It's a real community and family effort. They have the support of their families and friends. Knowing that they don't tour and don't get paid for what they did simply points to their success. In a interesting way, they became a success just by going out and enjoying the process. Please keep us all posted!
This group creates the atmosphere of what a Beach Boy concert could have been or was like in the early 60's (before they became institutionalized). The instrumentals are right on and the vocals are very sincere. Watch the guy's on stage and how they move about. They aren't polished professionals...there kids doing what the Beach Boys did at their early stage.....their having fun with the music and lyrics. That's part of what makes this band so good. Keep HAVING FUN! :-) Frank Bell
Just when you think The Fendertones have done it all ...they do Salt Lake City! It is refreshing that the lesser know "hits" are being performed. I look forward to more suprises from these talented group of musicians! Love & Mercy!
I just adore the Beach Boys and any group like the Fendertones who do such a swell job with their music. Let's hope the Beach Boys do in fact all reunite for a grand tour next year. I'd pay top dollar to see Al, Mike, Brian and Bruce together again for a smashing show. We miss Carl and Dennis.
just found this Fendertones 2004 Bryn Athyn Penn concert gem,,to go along with the previous efforts.
how good are the instruments here...PERFECT!!!
and the vocals?....just remarkable!!
as ive said before ...,the fendertones should be a huge part of Beachboys 50th anniversary celebration in 2011
Papa-ooo-mow-mow on the west coast, these guys on the east,,with Brian and the originals getting together one final time would make the summer of '11 one endless one to be sure.
Outstanding Edwin, and so glad to see you guys back on here. You could put on one a day and it wouldn't be enough for me. Thanks so much for this wonderful collection. And outstanding song selections as well -- you guys sure weren't taking any easy way out!!
Simply awesome. You young men, I truly hope you someday fully appreciate what you did , & the incredible attention to detail. You were just amazing. Wolfsky9

Yet another great video from the fabulous Fendertones! Still no word about a tour, a gig or even a DVD. The website has been down for months. Edwin, you keep teasing us with these videos, but we want to know more about the band and this show, who the singers are, who the musicians are, etc.
I want to play guitar in your band! I know how hard it is to get talent together for a common goal and I have such admiration for the incredible job you did. Please try to bring this back to the stage!
@ETolnes great musician ship vocals keybourds sax the guy playing baritone sax looks like the actor who played mike love in an american family watch part 2-6/9
Edwin... would love some more background on this. Was this a one time gig, who are these people in the band, how difficult was it to pull this off, why not take this show on the road or else perform in Branson during the summer, have you had any comments from Brian Wilson, etc.
Man, I wish I could've been at this show. Seeing it on YT is the next best thing. Thanx, Edwin...if ya got anything else, please keep 'em comin! These vids are awesome!!!
So cool to suddenly find another Fendertones upload!! Another amazing performance and recording. This obvious dedication and commitment to study and reproduce the sound of the Beach Boys is remarkable. Well done, Bryn Athyn, PA. Greets from a long-time Beach Boys fan from California.
