neither of the words "here" or "year" make any sense to me in context with the rest of the verse, and according to the song's title, they're looking for the fifth dimension...so how does this add up ?

Hmm... I checked out the Daniel Kandi one and I liked it as well--the bassline is off a bit, but the rest of the mix was good to me.

And I like the original mix, of course. Justine Suissa's still my favourite trance vocalist after hearing her for the first time in a set by Armin in 2004.

Portubed : I listened to the daniel kandi remix, and I dont like it as much as this original. The kandi remix bassline doesnt fit with the tune or vocal. I dont know what drugs you were on when you wrote your comments but as a musician with qualifications I can clearly state there is no 'unfitting' as you put it (is that an actual word) parts to the original it is pure perfection. You need your ears testing mate, or at least some musical training.

The original has true( interpret true yourself) beats, the remix almost distorts the bassline. Although at some points, the vocals were enhanced, the original progresses more smoothly. The remix almost sounds like a pop trash remix, no? Just imagine the way underage dancing in raves beyond their maturity level that they can handle. They'll get there one day though, they'll get there...

A truism that is very *untrue* in this case, in my opinion. :)

Daniel Kandi is well above average in his understanding and production of trance music. This original is very repetitive, you clearly have a glimpse of how unfitting it is, for example between 3:30-4:45 and some lacks of synch, let alone progression, between the vocal and the mix. This greatly empoverishes the song.

What Kandi did was highlight these beautiful and original vocals to an amazing, applaudible standard.
