Not with casters, unfortunately, because they tend to have to stop to have to do their channeling spells. And at such a low rank the rune priest didn't have very many instant cast spells. And the black orc was a bit of a noob.. he could of moved a lot more.

pfft...any casters combat will appear turn based it does on wow too...there are your instant cast spells then there are your spells that take time to cast then have a cooldown. As for melee you have your Attack speeds for your weapon then your same cooldowns(and in some cases cast times) for your abilities. Melee just looks nicer because if your in pvp you are running around doing all sorts of crazy stuff nobody takes the time to look at how often you are attacking or if its turn based or not.

if the warrior comes within melee-range.

I hate all mmo's where healers can outlast

warriors while standing toe-to-toe with them,

and throw some CC if they need heals.

Then you are the "typical" moron who doesn't grasp the concept of what a warrior and healer in the classic sense is.

A warrior is no dps machine, but a bulwark, a tank who can absorb huge amount of damage while the healer on the other hand is totally squishy but has superior heals.

So yes, a healer can, will and should outlast a warrior by any means and definitions.

The BO is pretty unexperienced in RvR combat it seems. From what I've seen he is only using a basic attack and no shield attacks or follow up plan attacks.

A tank spec can't win against an healer player, even with silence and stun, does not deal enough dmg in a burst.

Even for a BO 2handed it is hard to beat down a healer, only sometimes if you have some crit luck. Or if you have 5 more levels.

Anyway, remember that Warhammer is a teamplay based game, BO job is to cover his team healers and/or harrass enemy healers by interrupt/stun/silence cause they are long/hard to beat down. They can also assist dps cac class.

Yea, to each his/her own. I don't mind slow. In fact I welcome it.

Besides that I'm an old RPG veteran, I've played BG, Fallout (Turn Based Combat), NWN and many more oldies, where it was mostly turn based combat.

Most of the players complaining about slow combat are fps people turinig to RPG or only-WoW players used to fast paced combat.

Anways, it's way better to have a lill' slow combat than being heavily reaction time depended like in WoW. But that's just me.

Black orcs, chosen, swordmaster, and ironbreakers are the tanks of Warhammer, They have LOTS Of Health and Armor. but sometimes thier dps can be low.. or high. :)

I've been getting messages, a lot of confusion going around.

1) Yes, there are way more spells for Dwarf Rune Priest than in the video. I was only Rank 7 (Level) out of Rank 40.

2) No, the Black Orc was not an NPC, it was a player. Yes, you can loot a player after you killed him/her. But you don't loot his/her inventory or anything from him/her, the server is generating random loot.

3) The 2nd Dwarf, who helped me, was not a NPC. It was another Dwarf Rune Priest not Engineer, my mistake!

nah...Black Orcs have a skill they get(I'm thinking rank 5) where they get a 25% chance to increase their wounds and heal themselves by an amount equal to the number of wounds they gained.
