"IAW" Universal Television Logo (1989) Warp Speed Version

I actually heard a super fast warp speed version of the logo ("And" Variant) from a few S3 episodes of Quantum Leap. It sounded super fast and stood out from the other warp speed versions.

This was on some first season episodes of "Law and Order" (Although the first season's logo says "And Universal-An MCA Company".)!

You saw "And Universal"? I saw the IAW variant when the credits were compressed on TNT.

On some eps. I saw "And Universal" like "The Blue Wall" and "The Mushrooms". Nowadays some episodes between 1990 and 2002 were plastered with the logo "NBC Universal".

I recently discovered this 1989 Universal TV Warp Speed jingle at of very few eps. of "Quantum Leap" also, but w/ the word "And" on top.

Was this logo ever plastered over any Revue logos or earlier Universal TV logos or not?

More than likely not; all Universal logos were (and still are) kept on their original programming.

With some exceptions: "The Rockford Files" about several 1974 2-part eps. had the 1974 Universal logo w/ the 1978 Universal jingle played over the 1974 jingle. On some reruns of 'Magnum, P.I.," the 1980 jingle (heard in the bulk of Season 1) is plastered over by the 1982 jingle.

And on A&E reruns of "Black Sheep Squadron," they plastered the 1976 Universal logo w/ the 1997 Universal logo.

and someone had a clip of the closing creidts of a later season of "The Virginian" had the Revue and/or Universal TV logo plastered over w/ the 1991 Universal-TV logo.

Also on a "McCloud" episode called "The Man from Taos" where they plastered the 1970 "From" Variant for the 1977 "And" Variant!
