That's nothing, the 3800 V6 had a souped up coupe that could do 0 to 215 MPH in 6.8 seconds. Look for, "world's fastest 3800" or "world's fastest V6" in youtube videos, it's a white V6 camaro. That car is faster than the Bugatti Veyron.

Yeah that was fast, however it's a drag car, not a street/production car. If you look at the fastest 1/4 mile of all time it was in a rocket car...banned for further use and din't even have an engine - compressed gases - 1/4 in 3.3 sec.

that is not a corvette. if anything its a holden car considering it has the same display unit from a gto just with a lower redline. it could just be a 5.7 04 gto though.

The 2004 GTO used a 6.0 liter 400 HP engine, the phased out the 5.7 engine in 2002 with the death of the Camaro and Trans Am.

You're an idiot. The GTO didn't get the LS2 until '05. It had an LS1 until then. Also, it was rated at 350hp.

2004 had a 350hp 365ftlb LS1, 2005-2006 had a 400hp 400ftlb LS2

No 04 GTO's also used the LS1, the LS2 did not come until 05. Remember there were still 03 / 04 Corvettes that continued after the death of the Camaro so they still needed the LS1 =)

The 350HP LS1 continued to as late as 2003? Then 6 years later they invent a new Corvette engine with 639HP!? What a jump!

There were stronger LS engines than the LS1 since 2000... The LS6 engine was rated at 400 or 450 HP, I forgot which but it was in production before the LS2's. The LS3 when it came out made 420ish HP, The LS7 came into production around 2007 and was making 505 HP, and the 639 HP motor is the LS9 which is extremely expensive and kind of rare. - The base Corvette uses the LS3 motor, not the LS9.
