I was lucky to get their autographs on my cd jacket of Recurrence after a show in Minneapolis 1988 or 1989. Love their music.

It's interesting seeing Gary perform this after 19 years. I remember the original being more urgent. More youthful vigour about it.

The live concert performance sounds a bit formulaic. I'm sure it was probably better there in the flesh though. Nice to see them still making music.

PS - 'Recurrence' isn't hard to find at all in the UK.

It was an impromptu performance at a "Acoustic" evening, hence the slightly subdued nature of the performance.

the A Gentle Sound is the most recent Railway Children album, with a lot of the old songs done on acoustic most memorably. VERY highly recommended

I do a few covers of some songs from it on Youtube btw
