I propose an "Email Bomb". Let us set a day when all of us email our friends and family with a plea to watch a single Ron Paul video of either a debate or interview. I feel the media has painted him as an extremist wacko for decades now, and we must let people see what he is really about.
In this effort, I would hope that everyone also includes how to register as a Republican and why, along with the Primary election dates for their state.
This would be a good alternative if you don't have the money to donate to the "Money Bomb", as word of mouth from a trusted friend or family member is much better than any campaign advertisement.

Ron, here's how you can win. Simply tell everyone you will run as an Independent if you lose the primary. This could spoil the election. Republicans will want to vote Obama out so bad they will make sure you win the primary. No way they would risk a spoiler and you would get just enough votes to do it. (The Ross Perot factor.) A financially responsible person never worries about their credit as they do not need to use credit. So what is wrong with America?
I guess I should follow my governments example and go buy a 7 series bmw to drive instead of saving and driving a 23 year old car. Spending and borrowing might be the best way. My savings keeps getting devalued by the fed and at the end of the day I am still broke and never owned a 7 series.

The U.S. and the world has went through years of unchartered technological development. the government voted and compromised to raise the debt ceiling. It wasn't an easy decision, but the drama and coverage of the debate leading up to it and the aftermath led to the downgrade. Paul has been right on the economy but now we know the problems. the right compromises can be made less painfully if the rhetoric out of the mainstream media improves and doesn't make the people worry and panic as much.
