  • I don't smoke pot. I don't want to screw my body with that crap, but I simply find this song a beauty. I wonder why a lot people think a drug enhances a song?

  • @BackRowRacing98 weed doesnt make pink floyd better, pink floyd makes weed better. and truthfully, it does make it better, until you have done it dont say it doesnt make a difference. and for the record, weed isnt bad for you, all smoking is, but if u vape weed you will suffer 0 reprecussions unless you take a drug test :/ no hate on the herb man

  • I was 14 the first time i saw them in Chicago & i was amazed among other things.....What a TRIP. Still no concert compares Trip or no trip one of the best bands ever.

  • One of the best solos ever performed. Possibly only second to "Sorrow" from the same concert.

  • SERIOUSLY??? 139 people must NOT have been high while listening to this song!!!

  • Everyone on stage is like mk just repeat what i just improved the last 12 bars again hes still not done! =]

  • 4:54!!!!!!

  • Great Video....Wish i was there! They blew roof off that place with just one song in.....1994

  • David Guilmour es lo mas hermoso q hay en este mundo, incomparable!!!!

  • Floyd is my anti-depressant... i dont need drugs

  • I'm 14 years old.. Is 2012. And am a modern day person just like the rest of the world... But I listen pink floyd and time stops... I'm amazed..

  • i remember sitting in my egg chair with 2 jbl speakers in them, an put on this album. time stopped. if you hit dislike like to this , i cant imagine you like music at all .

  • 8:01......love it shreds this song

  • All I can say is DAMN!!!! AWESOME!!!!!

  • When I first saw this, I sat here speechless with my mouth hanging open. I remain amazed. Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Pink floyd is all I have listen to in 7months! Still going

  • The one most orgasmic song in the world.

  • My God, the solo sounds so perfect I had to come back to my YouTube tab to see if it was really live. As a guitarist I have nothing but respect for David Gilmour

  • beyond~~

  • 9:32 mind-blowing minutes of pure musical intoxication.

  • THE BEST SOLO EVER

  • I would agree with any superlatives attributed to this group and this concert. Pink Floyd stands alone in the music world. They are their own genre, no one can replicate Gilmour's guitar solos, and no one will ever be so set apart from the rest of their contemporaries, by skill as musicians, content and composition of music and out of this world showmanship. It's as if they came down to show us mere mortals what Rock and Roll Heaven sounds like.

  • Oh man, don't let the 'Double Rainbow' guy see this. His head might explode! I saw PF in 1988 and was completely floored by Gilmour during the solo

  • Is Pink's "so what" really in the related videos?

  • That solo is untouchable.

  • Awesome....

  • not sure if music gets much better than this

  • I just had 94 girl orgasms and I'm a dude.

  • This freaking guitar solo is capable of waking the dead. It also makes forget all the shit going on in the world. Gilmour is the best.

  • @zigarela Absolutely. That solo is bad enough to derail a freight train.

  • Such an immense audience. Pink Floyd is monumental and powerful.

I possess an extremely strong passion for them.

  • I'm sure the front row people's faces melted with this solo

  • I wonder and I mean this with all sincerity if the people sitting in that stadium knew if something very very special was happening in front of their eyes? I am insanely jealous of those that were there and what truly pisses me off is I was only 6 hours away from there back in 94 and didn't think I could get in so I didn't try. I should have went and tried and I am now kicking myself in the ass for not going. This is music that can never be reproduced and Gilmour is conveying the music of GOD

  • @bradchaffee50 I wasn't at this particular concert, but I saw them in the same tour in Denver on June 18, 1994. It was every bit as awesome as what you see here. They are unbelieveable. And yes, it was a fantastic night and I relished EVERY moment of it knowing how very special it was.

  • @TheAbbott1000 sweet, I saw that Division Bell tour in Washington DC...this was their finale and it seemed to go on forever, I was in heaven. Thank you, David Gilmour, the most amazing live performance I have ever seen. There will never be another Floyd.

  • You took the words right out of my mouth. I didn't want it to end and was truly sad that it did....deeply sad.

  • IF this song doesn't send chills up your spine, you best go see the doctor!

  • Amen this is the BEST song by pink floyd! Thank you for uploading this.;)

  • Gilmour continues to improve with age!

  • Flawless.

  • This is by FAR the best guitar solo I have ever heard!!! This is even better than the studio recording!!! I wish the solo would never end!!

  • @meekda1975 Also who are the 138 ass hats who disliked this video?

  • how can ANYBODY click "dislike"?

  • Simply the greatest show on Earth!

  • My heart is beating so much faster now than when I pressed play. That solo is absolutely amazing.

  • who replaced Roger Waters?

  • @BritRock93 I believe that is keyboardist Richard Wright. I personally like him, but it doesn't feel right without Waters. Cheers.

  • @BritRock93

Guy Pratt, a fine player and the late Floyd keyboardist Rick Wright's son-in-law (as of two years after this show).

  • @BritRock93 some goofy 80s guy with a stupid bass.

  • my mind just shitted itself

  • I cant get enough of that solo.

  • This is the only guitar solo I can listen to and think "it's still not long enough."

  • Anyone know where I can buy a laser Floyd DVD?

  • I can't imagine my memories of rock and roll without this performance!

  • That solo was musical heroin. Comfortably Numb indeed....

  • If you are looking for the DVD I suggest you get the "PULSE" set of 2 DVD's . It is GREAT !!! As for the best solo by David Gilmore, I'd have to vote for the "TIME" solo. One of his best !

  • Man, you can feel the emotion dripping off the strings!!!

  • I absolutely love David Gilmour but Roger Waters is on tour performing The Wall and I am seriously thinking about slapping down a hundred buck to see the show but no Gilmour has me thinking twice. Any suggestions?

  • @jeffr765 i wouldn't, pink floyd sounds sounds like pink floyd songs when gilmour is present if not its just your average sound

  • @rmf09024 Thanks man. I watched a bunch more video's and kinda felt that way. Gilmour is one of my favorite guitarist/musicians period. I know Roger Waters puts on a great show and I would probably like the show but it just wouldn't be the same.

  • Seriously considering slapping down 100 bucks to see Roger Waters do The Wall... but no Gilmour is giving me second thoughts. Any Advice is appreciated.

  • @jeffr765 I understand how you feel putting up that kind of money, but I paid 100 bucks to see The Wall, and I have no regrets. It was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. My advice is to just do it. While it may not have Gilmours amazing guitar work, it was still a very epic show.

  • I saw Floyd during this tour in 94. Center row 13 Ohio Stadium. Young people go to concerts. The memories will be burned into your brains forever.

  • thats why I wish I was born in my dads time period instead I'm stuck in my generation of music witch needles to say is shit compared to pink Floyd or the Dead but thank god I have the dad I do he's taken me to see roger waters a couple of times for the wall and was amazing iv also seen the dead twice without jerry and iv seen string cheese incident 30 plus times and I'm glad phish came back on tour seen them about 7 times. this may be my generation I'm in but its not the music I love!

  • I'm not high, but this is still the most euphoric thing I've ever heard in my entire life.

  • @Commentsboxcaughtme Being high is for the weak, passive, and scared kid that think smoking will make them top of the school.

  • What new artist will try to remake this and totally destroy it?

  • @youbestbequiet This cant be duplicated. Much like the Classical Masters can't be, neither can this. Its safe for us to listen to forever, unchanged without worrying if Lady Gaga or Justin Beiber trys this.

  • this is overwelmingly ubalieveble. feeel soo good right now

  • tripping soo hard and i feel so free and gooodd

  • if you cant relate to that solo your all ready dead

  • just sit, close your eyes, and clear your mind

    .

    .

  • amazing, amazing, amazing. that's all I can say.

  • @vivaalarachel Probably because you are soooooo comfortably nunb. Chiiiiiiill

  • 138 cunts exist in this world.

  • @anerudhdgp 138 have not become Comfortably Numb

  • Greatest. Guitar. Solo. Ever. Period.

  • the people who hit the dislike button hit it because they thought it was the dislike button.

    theyre just fucking morons

  • @gangstastatis619 Kind of random, but does 619 in your name have anything to do with rey mysterio? And yes those people have a loose circuit upstairs

  • @pilotSSW no, area code

  • David Gilmour's guitar playing is really all about feeling, emotion and an amazing sense of delicate taste. There are many good guitar players like Hendrix, Clapton Page, Blackmore, Iommi, etc, but only Gilmorur can play a long solo like this one and make it so sweet, interesting, endless and so full of sense and emotion. For my taste, this is probably the greatest solo of all. A master piece.

  • As much as i hate to think about it. It's going to be such a sad day when David dies. For me, it will be the day music dies.

  • this is hands down, the best version of the song out there.

  • The best version in my opinion.

  • too bad music like this doesn't exist anymore :/

  • acid is the shit! go pink floyd!

  • Id love to see that faggot justin beiber make music as good as this. The solo is the best ever

  • AWESOME!!! The music speaks for itself!!

  • pink floyd is the shit!!! i love pink floyd and this song makes me cream my panties. i have more of an appreciation for the live version of pink floyd though because they are amazing!!!

  • i have this dvd along with many other from pink floyd, but definately this one and pompeii are the best ones

  • proof that it's not how MANY notes you play but WHAT notes you play

  • I saw this show in Philadelphia. Incredible!

  • is there a dvd for this concert? ! ! ! !

  • @raulfelix

Definitely there's a DVD of this concert.

    Shine On!

    Stan

  • @raulfelix I have it. If I could only watch one show for the rest of my life.... This would be it.

  • only 3.6 million views?

  • I'm pushing 60 years old, went to Woodstock in '69, and have heard all the great guitarists of my generation; with little doubt, THIS particular live rendition is the greatest guitar solo ever recorded; listen, really listen, young ones, and hear what greatness sounds like

  • @pdln52

    Thanks Bro. Shine on!

    Stan

  • @pdln52 he is thee best guitarist to ever grace a fretboard.. he is the reason i make music

  • @pdln52 im only 37 but love love love david gilmore

  • @pdln52 absolutely agree Sir! This is what greatness sounds like...this is what GOD would sound like!

  • @pdln52 You are 100% correct. This is pure music, there no fillers here.

  • @pdln52 like you I am a bit long in the tooth. My Aunt and Uncle were at Woodstock as well and growing up around them I listened to literally everything from the 60's and 70's, to include Pink Floyd. I sent my Uncle this video about a year ago. He wrote me back and said he was in tears and had never heard anything so amazing and I have to agree with him and you. THIS particular rendition is the best ever played. I envision this to be the music we are greeted with at our lifes end.

  • 137 idiots !!!!

    .

    .

    .

  • I was at this show in NY in 1994 and I couldn't move from being so blown away at what I was seeing and hearing. This was more then a concert it was an experience

  • If you dislike this, you should lose your hearing.

  • This is the pinnacle of music!

  • Goddamn, that is amazing.

  • The most moving of all solos ever. I shed a tear and have an orgasm at the same time listening to this.

  • that is so fuckin hot!

  • DAVID GILMOUR GUITAR - NUFF SAID Ô¿Ô

  • I must chime in about Davids guitar solo in this most amazing of musical compositions..... It's absolutely a freaking masterpiece of audio creativity

There is really nothing to compare it to!

  • Anyone that's old enough to say they're from the "Classic Rock" generation that grew up with Floyd knows that David Gilmour is a ROCK GOD!!

  • @GBeret83 no need to be from the Classic rock generation to know that.

  • Comment removed

  • For Tom, my finace's favorite song. He played and sang the shit out of this and so many others...RIP: Tommy Joe: 1957-2001. I still miss you!!!

  • @gglorybee :'( rip

  • I saw them in 1974 in Jersey City NJ in an outdoor ballpark. It changed me forever. This is the greatest emotional solo that there will ever be period.

  • @mrzaremba123 Liked partly because you saw them in my home town, and partly because you saw them.

  • Speechless, long live good music!

  • I saw pink Floyd at MAdison Square Garden on my Birthday ya Dig and it was Trippy as Fuck

  • Heeeeeeeell yeaaaaaaaaaah!!

  • God.... David Gilmour. That guy delivers.

  • many times I love the record then I see the band live and it's not the same. With Pink Floyd the live shows are even superior to the recording. Gilmour, especially, never disapoints. His guitar and his voice get me every time.

  • I want to go to one of their shows before I die.

    I JUST FUCKING HAVE TO.

  • likely the most epic guitar solo ever played. it never fails to imbue my thoughts with feelings of otherworldly energy literally nothing else on earth can quite create for me. david gilmour is a wizard on six strings.

  • 137 people had their speakers on mute.

  • This 'IS' my favorite song!

  • Good Gawd.

  • All those people comparing David Gilmour to God and all that, well he is really talented but lets be honest. He is no David Gilmour.

  • @bushbasher85 We cannot stop laughing about this comment....very clever...and blasphemous, but let's face it, God did need a little help with the creation of the world's greatest artist. Enter, David Gilmour.

  • @bushbasher85 lol

  • Comment removed

  • I perfer the David's tone here, but the O2 arena with Roger Waters was a better visual to go with this song.

  • Simply STUNNING! Leaves me with tears in my eyes and chills. This is a masterpiece of true ART, with incredible skills on display. What an epic journey. Bands of today should be ashamed of themselves. Like jsussi says- If I have to explain it to you, you wouldnt understand.

  • PINK FLOYD, IF I HAVE TO EXPLAIN IT TO YOU, YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND

  • i remember this like yesterday.. first concert

  • i like but i think the background singers arent too good.

  • @CFCID umm i disagree...i have all you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be tatted on my back and literally this concert made me get it...the singers are AMAZING great gig in the sky pulse version is HYPNOTIC beautiful voices.

  • espetacular este solo q considerado p muitos o mais belo existente ; Numa linha crescente c mais de 5 minutos . Música q fala de desilusão , drogas e na infância . Gilmour is god !

  • 137 people have missed out on being comfortably numd!!!!

  • I'll bet those dopey 137 are HUGE Justin Bieber fans!

  • Holy Shit! I forgot how awesome that version is...My BAD!

  • 6:47 A thousand souls, in awe of the bliss around them, screamed out in one magnificent voice, "WE LIVE. WE FEEL. WE ARE ALIVE."

Seriously though this solo brings tears of joy to my eyes. Absolutely phenomenal and unmatched in the annals of history.

  • i have 14 years old and this is my favorite song ever ! pink floyd will lives forever !

p.s :gilmour is the most amazing guitarist any time !!

  • I wonder... Does David Gilmour know he's the greatest guitarist of all time? or is he out of the loop...

  • You will never hear a song like this and a guitar solo soo perfect ever again. To all those of the new generation, all i got to say is enjoy cuz this is real music

  • WAYY better then the album version!!!!!!!

  • But Gilmor is so awesome, hes one of my favorite guitarist and this is for me one of the best solo ever.

  • I personnaly prefer Roger's voice for the non-verse.

  • GOOOOTTT DDDDAAAMMMNNNNN !!!!!!! That was GREAT!

  • I can't hit the Like button enough times.

  • This version is absolutely amazing. It's better than their original recording. All the voices mixed together make it just so much more haunting and surreal, almost ghostly, and far more creepy. As wonderful as the original was, this version is much better. Pink Floyd should have recorded it like this from the very beginning.

  • 136 dislikes??? I am sure those 136 are either beieber or ke$ha lovers or deaf.

  • SONG BRINGS TEARS TO MY EYES GILMOUR YOU ARE A GOD AMAZING PINK FLOYD BEST EVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • If you like this version, you all should check out the one that David Gimour and Richard Wright did at the Royal Albert Hall from the DVD "Remember That Night." I love this version, but the 2nd solo from Remember That Night' is truly epic.

  • New progressive rock coming out soon band type ''innerspaceband''

  • muito bom , pink floidy parece ser uma coisa surreal , q blz de clássico ;

    Vander . . .

  • this song is like a bloody drug.....cant have enough of it..!!!!!!

  • possibly the best live performance of anything ever

  • Nobody Put Up a Better Concert than Pink Flyd. Saw them at Knebworth in 1975, and it was the best concert I ever went to.

  • did anybody else get hypnotized

  • this solo is fucking crazy!!

  • DAVID GILMOUR = A GOD

  • Why did this have to take place before I was even born? :(

  • Magic!

  • David Gilmore stays for ever in my heart,in my memories and on my wall

    Pink Floyd is unrepeatable

thumbs up if you have something from them on your bedroom wall
