  • This is a joke, the videos and the channel trying to pass itself off as "health" information. Most nutrient rich foods you won't find in packages. There's no "latest" product that you need, complete and wholesome foods have been here forever. It is simple. Calorie counting is frivolous, and a distraction. If people ate real foods that their bodies were designed to digest there wouldn't be many issues.

  • It's like everyone has forgotten that food is LIFE and sure you can find natural foods in packages, but those 100 calorie things?? Terrible for you. Just because you might have the chance of loosing a little weight means amost nothing as apposed to eating vitamins and the right calciums and proteins for good health. Has no one remembered the basics? Fruits and veggies and natural foods are really the best thing and only thing.

  • Being thin doesn't always mean you're healthy. It absolutely does matter what you eat, as all foods react differently with our bodies. Our bodies have demanding nutritional needs for vitamins, minerals, enzymes, water, amino acids, carbohydrates and lipids. You can't get these nutrients with just any foods, and certainly not from the frankenfoods showcased in this video. If you crave refined sugars, the only way to rid yourself of the addiction is to avoid it completely. BTW it's "dza-dziki".

  • All food is good for you. It is just having a balanced diet, which is the key. Sugar is the killer. Most fats can't be digested. So anything 'low fat' is bulked out with sugar which will make you fat.

  • @DonSelwashington yea! i used to live in Austria for about 6 months, and the cool thing was that i lost about 10 pounds without doing any exercises! but unfortunately when i moved to usa. i gained 25 pounds just because every thing has too much calories!

  • These don't seem like healthy snacks to me insofar as "less calories" does not necessarily entail healthy. What sorts of flavors or preservatives are in those foods? What kind of sweeteners are used? Are there any important essential nutrients that might be included? How much salt? Are these products organic? Shouldn't these sorts of considerations matter with regard to the label "healthy snack"? The silly part is that I feel (know?) that I just watched a commercial disguised as health advice.

    Actually there is nothing wrong with raw dairy, if one does not have an allergy to milk proteins. Pasteurization is what brings out the glycoxidation compounds.

I make it and don't put protein and I literally get bursts of energy it's crazy. And you do look like that chic from 7th heaven. Give your input.

It takes some time to prepare, but it's more healthy than that chocolate stuff. It doesn't help you to get rid of your sugar addiction!

  • i try to avoid processed foods the most as i can because i dont trust any of them.. no matter how good the sound (like sugar free crap which has aspartame! or low calorie but high sugar as a replacement which makes you fat in the end anyways, etc) it is just better to buy organic fruits and vegetables and if you want something else then get black chocolate with the least amount of extra ingredients or chemicals

    once i have my own home, ill grow plants myself too. im tired of lies

  • Good video, but just wanted to throw out that those 100 calorie packs are terrible. Every study I've read that looks at them shows that people who get them think they're eating healthy and will either overindulge on those snacks, or eat higher quantities of other junk food. Its like the people my brother told me about when he worked for Pizza Hut "Yeah, can I get a large, deep dish, meat lovers pizza, extra cheese, and a DIET coke"

    I live by 3g or less with an exception of my bi weekly treat. But by now, i can't believe how much sugar is in everything. I can't even have my favorite vanilla yogurt anymore!

  • Definitely. I eat what many would call a "low carb" diet, but its not that I run from carbs, I just don't eat processed foods. Fruits, and tons of veggies make up my diet, with the exception being right before or after a workout when I know my body will use the sugars right away for energy. Eating like that has got me below 10% body fat despite being 5'10" 175 (so not a stick figure). If you want to shop healthy at the store then stick to the outsides and ignore all the aisles in the middle!

    Now that is someone i listen to for advice.

    I've been trying to eat more protein but its been a challenge being a college student. Unfortunately, i don't like beans and can only eat eggs scrambled. But when i get protein in each meal, i feel great. I can go 4-5 hours until i WANT to eat again.

  • Yeah, that guy knows his stuff. Keep it up with the protein, and don't be scared of plenty of fat at each meal. Just avoid the simple sugars, and things like potatos and you'll be just fine. If you're strapped for space (in a dorm or something) then pick up a big bag of mixed nuts (I get the ones with dried fruit to give it a little more flavor) and pack your fridge with cheese (american, string, whatever). Quick snacks with plenty of protein and virtually no sugar/carbs.

    Should i also avoid corn? I like having frozen veggies on hand for the times when i can't get to the store. I usually have corn, green beans, and broccoli in my freezer.

  • Yeah, corn and potatoes are pretty much the only two fruits or veggies I would definitely avoid. They just don't have enough vitamins and nutrients to justify the insulin rush that accompanies them. Go with sweet potatoes instead, and as for frozen veggies stick with the broccoli and green beans. I also like to pick up frozen peppers (red, green, yellow, mixed, whatever) along with some bags of mixed veggies, but its pretty much all good :)

  • actually TZ isn't a J... you have to pronunciate T Z together as letters ... if you know what I mean ... if an english dictionary told you that TZ is pronunced J it's probably because it is dificult for you english speaking ppl to pronunce TZ on its own ... turst me on the pronunciation because my father lived in greece, had a greece girlfirend and in the summer time he makes tzatziki all the time ...

  • english dictionary said TZ - but I was told by a girl who lived in Greece this summer it was a J - and when I check online after filming, I saw that it was in fact a TZ for english speaking people but in greece I read it's a J. I trust your opinion though and next time I will pronounce it as TZ...

You 100% correct, two of the products are labeled "All Natural" - which I know can mean not much, however I also did a video on Organic Food and why you should eat it, and many people argued that right now people can't afford to buy all organic. It's a hard audience to please but I do my best.

  • I find a great time saver is to buy stuff that doesn't have a label on it...fruits, veggies, etc. Simplifies the problem :) I try and avoid anything where I have to read the label, because if I don't know whats in it when I walk up then I really don't want to know. Milk, meat, veggies, eggs, these are all things that I know what the ingredients are and what I'm putting in my body.
